  • I'm so happy they get to keep Beiber. This is a proud day!
  • Another vote for enell bras. I gave up running but still need to tame the boobs for everything else. I nearly suffocated in yoga doing a down dog until I got a bra that worked!
  • Soooo many, I pick one up for a while then don't touch it again for months. I scrap book, paint, journal, read, volunteer, origami, wood burning, cooking gardening....
  • Why was that ever thought to be a good candle scent? I love the food scented ones ( minus the one above) I don't like anything floral or outdoors scented, they never smell like flowers or the outdoors :P
  • Yoga and Pilates are my favs
  • so they ran out of money and made all the costumes out of duct tape? That was nasty.
  • I once had to call in because there was a murder in my apt building and we were all under house arrest until they could investigate. I called my boss, she was sceptical but when she turned on the local news and i waved at her through my window she ok with it. I moved out of the ghetto very soon after that.
  • Mine is open to my friends list but I turned off the feature that posts to my wall. I don't need the good day posts on what I eat. I got tired of the comments on what I should be eating too. Some once gave me a lecture for eating cashew butter instead of peanut butter. A big lecture on why peanut butter was a better…
  • Depends on my mood or how I feel. Anxiety or stress. Hatha Energy to burn feeling cabin fever vinyasa I love the repetitiveness of ashtanga too and enjoy trying to improve my poses to finish strong
  • My class people don't like walking on the floor in bare feet so they walk across your mat. There is one lady who complains the whole class about how hard it is. Loudly. And some how always ends up beside me.
  • I have an app called all in yoga. It was free when I got it a couple of years ago :) it has verbal prompts and a static image instead if video. You can also click on a pose to get more details on how to do it. It has a few routines already done or you can make your own to follow.
  • I try to do some every day. Even if it's just 15 min of sun salutations just to loosen up my tight back. My back is always tight but if I skip too much yoga it gets to the point I can hardly bend over at all. Yoga has saved me so much money on massage and physiotherapy. There are lots,of quick yoga routines online. I've…
  • I have an inner ear disease that makes any balance poses very difficult. If anyone in class looses balance mine goes with them. I have to do everything eyes closed or alone. My instructor is really good at correcting me if I sway with just a tap. I can't feel myself loosing balance. I have to rely on cues from others. I…
  • yeah for you! Thats a big self esteem boost!
  • I don't set goals to learn new poses but I do want to improve in all of mine. Crow or down dog, both are a challenge to do perfect. I want to be more mindful while I practice and stop having the brain wandering to whats for dinner etc... I am also trying to have the goal of doing some kind of a daily practice, even if its…

  • I use my iPad. But I've been doing yoga for a while so I mostly need the audio. I know what most of the poses are and don't have to look at the screen, just hear the guided instructions.
  • I am about to try out the free trial :) ya'll convinced me :)
  • the database is filled with this stuff. Its up to you to enter your foods correctly. MFP does not remove or change wrong entries, since anyone can add an entry and new ones are being added all the time. If you are doing something like tuna salad make your own recipe and save it so you can use that or enter each ingredient…
  • Yep happens all the time. I try for an empty stomach too but when you start to focus on your body you notice things like hunger that were easily ignored when you were distracted. Yoga is also when I find tension in weird places or pains/ bruises I didn't feel until I focused on me. Also all the twisting tends to make the…
  • With all the time off and hubby home we hit the gym way more than usual. Lost .3 lbs and over ate. Super happy here.
  • I know it builds strength, by looking at how far my practice has come. When I started I could hold a plank for maybe 15 seconds, forget ever doing a real push up. Now I"m at headstands, push ups, I can do a pull up, everyday lifting is easier too. And after I push myself I have DOMS the next day, it wouldn't hurt if I…
  • I do a bit of everything, I get bored easy. zumba, yoga, weights, running (well jogging) hiking, skiing.... etc....
  • Ummm hells ya the more I work out the more yummy holiday foods I can stuff my face with. I'm also working out more so I can ease off in the new year when the gyms get stupid. January is work out at home month.
  • I've already started that challenge. I'm on day 11 :) the videos are fun. Some are pretty hard though. Enjoy it!
  • I also had a downward dog adjustment on my hips my elbows and my toes. Huge difference. Its amazing how small changes can help you get the most out of a pose. I love anything by Kino McGreggor. But her stuff requires some serious strength!
  • I'm picking up a few things this year on Boxing Day I love boxing day shopping :) I"m pretty close to goal weight now so I think I'm safe picking up some essentials. I also need some yoga clothes so those I can get for sure. I think getting a couple of things now is a good idea, and if you can get them for a great price…
