I'm a newbie, how often is the spreadsheet updated so that I know how often to make sure I post on here? Goal=30 miles

We need to be friend Nike13, we have the same ticker and the same goal!
-
Thanks everyone! That was what I was expecting but didn't know if it really mattered.

It' can't hurt to join a challenge right? My goal is 30 miles!

IMO 1,400 is well over 1,100, as in my breakfast, or a snack (or two depending on the day) or in the case of the OP's daughter any given meal. @ 1,450ish per day net I still lose and it is much more realistic for me than when I was trying to eat under 1,200. I still have under 1,200 days but I also have some that are over…

Alright. Hey. Alright. Good job, guys. Let's just not come in tomorrow. Let's just take a day. Have you ever tried shawarma? There's a shawarma joint about two blocks from here. I don't know what it is, but I wanna try it. Ever since watching Avengers I've wondered what shawarma was but didn't know how to spell it to look…

yes, of course. with 7 daily meals, it really adds up. first breakfast, second breakfast, elevensies, tea, luncheon, supper, dinner [/quote] Darn, beat me to it!

Hot yoga usually does burn more than traditional yoga because most hot yoga classes incorporate a flow style which is more active, however it does not burn more calories than flow yoga done in a regular yoga studio. I record all of my yoga classes hot, regular, flow or meditation as general yoga and figure it all levels…

The fallacy would be if the OP said you weigh 5X what my daughter does so you should eat 5X (i.e. 5,500 calories). Saying that you weigh 5X as much as her daughter so you probably need more than 1,100 calories isn't really a fallacy. I sit at a desk all day and on days I don't work out I can still eat well over 1,100 (or…

In case anyone is following along/cares my session was last night and actually was with a different trainer, the one I was scheduled with was sick. I think no matter what trainer I am with though everything is going to work out the way I want. The gym uses a team approach to the training so that if something happens like…

I weigh every Friday AM and record it on MFP no matter what. My new gym weighs everyone once a week before a workout and records it in their system also. I don't record the gym weight on MFP since that is a different scale and time of day, I try to keep my charts consistent.

You are lucky! Mine wants to eat healthy, then go get ice cream and pizza after our healthy meal has been eaten :) I"m with you on the wanting to eat crap when he's gone. It's just easier for me to say no to myself than it is to say no to him.

Thanks for the help. I guess as long as I'm sticking with it I don't have to keep having the sessions even though they are included in my membership.

This is exactly what I want to do because I have seen results faster in the women who do this over the ones who stick with low weight/high rep and never increase. I'm just not sure what the best way to go about telling the trainer that this is what i want to do is, if I should just say "I know you're the pro and all but I…

I should probably add this is a women's only gym, so all of the trainers are women. (I joined not because it is women's only but because it is the best gym that is close enough to make it realistic for me to go that also offers classes I enjoy at times I can attend). Also the trainer I was assigned is the person in charge…

I've had three or four friends recently who have mentioned not being able to stand meat during the first and third trimesters. Another friend is about to leave her first trimester and is just now back to being able to stomach red meat but still can't handle chicken or fish for some reason. One thing to remember is that you…

Some of the forms aren't even available yet if you have a complex return.

Fat makes skin more plump, don't think of them as wrinkles think of them as holes that used to be filled with fat.

I make breakfast cupcakes (or muffins, I prefer cupcakes...) Scramble 1 egg for every 2 cupcakes Mix in veggies, meat, and cheese of your choice just like an omelet pour into lined cupcake tins (don't use metal liners, you'll be microwaving these later!) bake at 350 for about 20-30 minutes until fully cooked I usually make…

But it doesn't help if the person who added the barcode to the database entered the wrong count for fiber or only entered calories and nothing else off of the label.

I wish MFP had a like button right now.

Only if you have a TV in your bathroom...

And when you mess up and eat a cupcake you don't then use that as an excuse to eat 12 more because you've already blown the day...At least that is my philosophy.

I survived the college cafeteria on rice with butter & grated parmesan and PBJ sandwiches...No clue how I didn't gain a ton of weight.

You can, I can't remember what it is under though, there was a thread about it a month or two ago.
