I run outside for cardio, and for strength training I follow the body-weight workouts from "You Are Your Own Gym". I've taken 2 inches off my hips and 1.5 inches off my waist in the last 2 months.

On the weekends - log as carefully as you do during the week. Look at your totals and decide which parts are worth it, and which parts are not. Adjust accordingly. This doesn't have to be an all or nothing approach. If you can see it all written down in front of you, it's easier to make the choices that fit you best.

strength training for body recomposition. If you don't have access to weights, you could start with body-weight strength training. You can get quite far with just that. YAYOG is a great program. I'm using the companion book "Body by You" and I'm already seeing good results.

I worked at a Wendy's as a teen, and that was EXACTLY how they did the chili. Fresh meat only went into it if they ran out of the 'cooked too long' patties.

If I really want it, I just get a small quantity of good quality chocolate. The good stuff is so much more satisfying than the cheap stuff - it makes it easier to eat in moderation.
