Hello :) Jogging was something that I never thought I would do and actually enjoy, but I do now! I'll share with you my story. I started jogging at 190 (my starting weight was 222). At that time, I could only jog for MAYBE 1/4 mile without having to stop. So, that was my starting point, 1/4 mile. I did that every night,…

BUMP...great thread!

Great thread...more people should read these success stories. Too many people on here eat too little and wonder why they stop losing.
-
eat more.

WHOA...what a depressing thread......Pity party time. However, I don't like mine either. It's a saggy, marked up sack of flab. I plan to lose another 15-20 and get a tummy tuck. I figure that's easier than learning to love it :)

This may have already been said....but, Talk to your husband about being more supportive. Even if he doesn't need to lose weight, there's nothing wrong with having a healthy meal instead of pancakes. Or, have him make his own pancakes. My willpower sucks and there is no way I'd be able to pass those up. I make pancakes for…

I started at 222 and am currently at 170. My goal weight is 155, so I have about 15 pounds to go. Running and vidoes such as 30 Day shred have given me the best results in the past. However, I do a variety of things...elliptical, turbo fire, many jillan videos, zumba, etc... I typically eat between 1500-2000 calories/day.…

My EXACT thought.....

I have another prize....tummy tuck once the weight is off and kept off for 2 years.
-
I already gave myself my goal prize- a boob job done last month :) However, I'm still 15 pounds from goal, but I'll get there! Slowly but surely.

Hello :) I'm not really in the mood to figure out how to post pics again....but if you look at my profile I have a link to my success forum post. I've lost 50+ pounds, and I'm 5'7.5''. Starting weight was 222. current weight around 170. I'd like to lose another 15. It took me about a year to lose it...I work out a bunch,…

Actually the week after surgery when I was doing nothing but laying around, I had no appetite (VERY rare for me) and I ended up losing a couple pounds. It was when I started feeling better that the weigh crept back on :/ Good luck!
-
and to answer another question you had...I took off work for only 1 week after the surgery and I needed longer. I'm a teacher and had a really tough time coming back to work. Mainly because I wasn't sleeping at night due to the pain (ran out of strong pain killers by then) and because sleeping on your back, evated, was not…

Hello- A friend of mine let me know there was someone on here with questions about this topic. I asked the same questions back in Feb. before mine. I had a very "aggressive" BA, consisting of a LOT of skin removal, lift, and implant on March 5th. Prior to that I worked out every single day (running, P90x, turbo…

BUMP for when I'm at home

I'm having work done on my breasts. So I need to avoid upper body strength training as well as running and jumping around. I plan to walk, use the stationary bike, and do lower body workouts (lunches, etc..) as soon as possible. My doctor is in Florida and I'll be in Wisconsin, so I really need to take it easy since if I…

WAIT...there is a pill that ACTUALLY works??? what is this miracle pill??? No, actually, I know exactly what you are saying. People taking the easy way out annoys me too, but it's their loss. It's those that do it the right way that are going to benefit by being healthy and keeping the weight off. I wouldn't want to take a…

I eat mine with pretzels, crackers, or I use it on wraps.

It's always so interesting to see the differences in goal weights, despite the same heights. I'm 5'7.5'' SW: 222 CW: 169 GW: 155 I may adjust my GW when I get closer, but as of now, I can't imagine needing/wanting to go any lower. I still want to have some curves :) and I want to be able to maintain where ever I decided is…

Exactly!!! my mind does need to catch up...

:) we CAN do it!!!

I LOVE hearing that!!!! This has been a fantastic day...just hearing that others are motivated by my story makes me feel REALLY good :) I love MFP :)
-
I give credit to my working out! definitely! I'm also "larger boned" so I carry my weight fairly well.
-
sounds like you are having great results with the shred! Both times, I just did it once a day at each level for 10 days..totaling 30 days. The first time I had significant results (but I was running also), but the last time I didn't so much...however, the weight is coming off even slower these days.
-
I switch it up often.... I run, zumba, 30 day shred twice through, currently doing ripped in 30, I love turbo fire! and butt bible! I get bored easily so I do change it up :)
-
Thanks everyone!!! Hard work has paid off :)

For me, working out is a must, since my consistency usually lacks in the food department :/
