I am 17w1d and I mix it up between the elliptical at the gym, Jillian Michaels workout DVDs, riding my bike, walking while pushing my toddler in the stroller and I just incorporated Summer Sanders prenatal workout video. I try and workout 5 days a week at the minimum. My calories are set at 2000 and I usually eat back my…

I'll be 17 weeks tomorrow. I am feeling GREAT!! Morning sickness has disappeared, aversions aren't as bad (they lasted my entire pregnancy last time) and I have more energy most days (still take the occasional nap if I can). BUT I am hungry!! All the time. Ha!

I was one of those very lucky mamas :-) He was born on his due date. I have a feeling I wont get that lucky this 2nd time around. LOL!

I had an epidural with my son and my birth was fantastic!! I was calm and pain free. I progressed VERY quickly (we checked in at 7:30 that morning and he was born before 2 that afternoon - that is pretty quick for a FTM). I could still feel my legs and feet, roll over on my own and I felt the urge to push. I was up walking…

I am always looking for motivated pregnant ladies to add to my friend's list. Although I haven't been much of a motivator myself lately. But I'd like to change that! This is my 2nd pregnancy and I'll be 15 weeks tomorrow. My 1st pregnancy I was really good about eating healthier foods. But this time around not so much. I…

I am due 10/28. My 1st was born on his due date but I doubt I'll get that lucky again :-) I am just getting over the stomach bug :( Its been AWFUL being sick and pregnant but its even worse taking care of a 14 month old that is also throwing up. We are both on the mend today though. Yay! I have been slacking on logging but…

I really want a Finley for a little girl. Undecided on the middle name. We still don't know what we're having yet. I already have a little boy - Jameson Scott O'Meara :-) I cannot think of any other boy names that I love so I hope this little one ends up being a girl!
-
I am am not on bed rest but I just wanted to give you kudos for still logging and trying to stay on track. You deserve a pat on the back! I can only imagine how hard this must be for you. I hope you'll be able to get up and moving by the 2nd trimester. Sending healthy vibes your way.

"Exercise is important for a healthy pregnancy and an easier labour. Yoga was my best friend! Staying active is a good thing. There are some great pregnancy DVD's or even check youtube." ^^^^So true!^^^ I definitely contribute my continued exercise and healthy eating habits throughout my entire pregnancy for why I had such…

I gained about 33 lbs with my first. I am 5'2, I started out at 142 lbs and was 175 lbs at 40 weeks. I had an easy pregnancy and exercised all the way up to 37 weeks. I walked, did the elliptical, Summer Sanders prenatal workout video, and water aerobics. The only reason I stopped is because I became really sick. I lost 17…

Yay for October babies!! My EDD (per my calculations based on when I ovulated ) is 10/28. This is my 2nd baby. I worked out my entire 1st pregnancy up until 37 weeks and I only stopped because I was really sick. I did the elliptical, swam, walked and I also did Summer Sander's prenatal workout video. I exercised at least 5…

I was up 0.9 :( Boo!! But I am not getting discouraged. Weight loss isn't linear. I hope to have a better weigh in next week :-)
-
I hope you are feeling better now!

I am down 0.9 this morning. I'll take it!!

It basically tracks your calories burned and along with logging your food, you are able to see your calorie deficit (what you need in order to lose weight). I log my food in MFP and the two sync up together. It also tracks the steps you take and the amount of sleep you get. I am addicted to mine :-) You can get the…

I just want to give you kudos for your hard work and dedication :-) You are going to succeed! Just take it one pound at a time. Now instead of a HR monitor, have you thought about using a BodyMedia armband (they use them on the Biggest Loser). I wore one in 2011 and it helped me lose 60+ pounds and I am using it again to…

I am down 1.2 this week. Only 1 pound away from a new "decade"! Keep up the good work everyone! :flowerforyou:

Down 4.8 this week!! BUT I was up 1.5 the previous Wednesday. Sending positive weigh-in vibes for everyone :-D

I had microfracture knee surgery and swimming was great for rehab as well as a stationary bike, a quality elliptical can be very low impact, walking, some Jillian Michaels workout videos (I occasionally modify some of the moves but you can tone the rest of your body). Good luck with your knee!

I don't necessarily have a tip. But I can completely relate. This might sound pretty awful and maybe not the best advice but I have just gotten use to be hungry. I try to exercise daily so I have a little "wiggle room" (a few extra calories to eat).
-
I am going to stop "falling off the wagon" every weekend. I do a decent job Mon-Fri but come Saturday I lose all motivation and effort. I decided to make a week day my single day off from exercise so I get in some sort of workout on both Saturday and Sunday.

I took BFing completely out of the equation. It was confusing me. I eat around 1900 calories and I have been slowly seeing my weight start to drop when I stay under my goal for the day. I usually eat any exercise calories back because I am so hungry from nursing. I have never been so hungry in my life!! I hope this helps…

I could have written this post myself! I am more hungry now then I ever was while pregnant. Soon after having the baby my weight started to drop (I think a lot of it was water weight) but quickly things changed and I started to gain weight. I feel like my "magic number" is 1800-2000 calories but nothing higher if I want to…
