Heh....supercharged 347. True story. ;)

Didn't read the responses thus far but, if your coworkers are being THAT difficult...next time tell them you have Crohn's or Irritable Bowel Disease and fatty foods will make you have projectile diarrhea all over the shared work bathroom. That should give them a mental picture that should shut them up for a while..... :)

This story brought tears to my eyes! I am so happy for you, your family, and your friends....and for the hundreds and hundreds of people, including myself, who you just inspired to be better, stronger, and thankful for what they have!!!

In for today only! :) edit: someone updated too fast! Intelligent!

But the "topic" is timeless....hence, the new answers.

Why has no one said SEX? Oh yeah, probably because 400 calories of sex would kill many of us in here. Back to what I was doing....sigh.

I didn't read anything but this, and I HOPE it's been said 1000 times now. 1) obesity KILLS 2) doctors will put off non-emergent surgery, indefinitely, if your BMI is high....dooming many people to a life of 'curable' pain or leading to a worsening of such due to non-treatment, because the issue itself is…

Home Gym = $0 Navy Gym = $0 and better views. ;)

Houston is NOT a skinny city. It's a commuter city with poor public transportation...and good Mexican food (among other things). Plus, it's hot. Very freaking hot.... I miss my childhood friends but, man, I don't miss living there....

Can I just be in for eye candy??

Nope, no apology needed. Even if that body was PURELY genetic (or even bought plastic) all the hubbub is PURELY jealousy. You don't have time to work out? Make it. You don't have long hair? Take some supplements and grow it (or buy a wig/extensions) You don't have nice boobs? Buy some. You don't have good teeth? Go to the…

I *snorted*! That's not sexy....now I'll never get the flirts...
-
Heck yeah, I'll take that! WooHooo!:drinker:
-
I'm not sure anyone HAS flirted with me (guess I'm out of practice) but I'm totally NOT sick of it yet.....
-
Me too! OP, you're an inspiration! Keep it up!!!
-
Well, since I have friends in here, I guess this is my place too! :)

I  Strong Lifts and because I've been doing it fairly consistently for the past 4+ months, I've gone from barely surviving a 5K "girly" mud run in July to completing an 11 MILE, British-special-forces-designed, muddy obstacle course yesterday. I still can't run worth a damn, but the obstacles were MUCH easier.…

After a 5 year hiatus to WoW....I'm back to playing Eve-online. My chars have been training for almost 10 years straight now....I try not to think about how much I've spent on that monthly subscription, but I really love the game.

I'd be curious to know what "kind" of doctor, because I can assure she would be an anomaly (and likely laughed out of her hospital) if she is a true MD.
-
Bumping to read all the responses later (as I feel I'll be sending out a NUMBER of friend requests, lol!). My personal story should fit right in though...... 43, married 17+ years now....and I'm an Ob/Gyn. YES! A "baby" doctor!!!! (that's the reaction I get when I tell most women - cue big eyes and matching smiles to go…

Darwinism. I'm just thankful Daddy (and hubby) was in the military. I even got vaccinated with the LIVE-virus smallpox vaccine (as one of the last groups inoculated). I have ALL KINDS of antibodies. :D

I didn't read anything before me, because I'm pretty sure I'm the only Ob/Gyn in the forums. The answer is NO. NO. NO. It's NOT Ok. Period. You will likely lose a few pounds in the first trimester due to morning sickness....this happens to almost everyone and is perfectly fine, but after that your doctor will want to you…

Ahhh, yes. The difference is that many (most?) of the calls you respond to are self-inflicted by the human you are trying to save (morbidly obese heart attack victim, drunk-driving MVA, domestic violence / fight victims, etc ) Humans often put themselves in harms way and make REALLY stupid decisions. Yes, many accidents…

The only thing that will "fix" it is surgery to reapproximate the muscles (called rectus or abdominal plication). The fascial layer between them has stretched and will never go back on its own. Contact a plastic surgeon.

I just want to say I love my FL. ;)
