WoW, now that Legion is live. Best expansion in YEARS! It's about time!

Me too! I was really trying to resist it because, like many here, I always found Pokemon to be for "little kids". However, I am a huge gamer online. This has bridged the worlds of gaming, outdoor fun, exercise, and silliness! Just what I need to help me de-stress! And, as others have mentioned, it is HUGE. I am currently…

Maybe you pooped?? ;)

(ps - the midwife is WRONG about not exercising in pregnancy and that it will cause prolapse. You're actually LESS likely to develop prolapse if you have a strong core, and are of a normal weight. The pregnancy weight you gain "should" be mostly fluid and baby...although the reality is that most women gain some fat as well…

Popp28...the ONLY midwife that knows more about normal pregnancy than an ob/gyn is one who has gone to medical school, residency, and passed a licensing and board exam in obstetrics to BECOME an ob/gyn. They may know how to make you more comfortable, more relaxed, and will very likely spend MUCH more time holding your hand…

One of my ponies...but not the fastest one. ;)

Doctor. Go see YOURS.

And sadly, I'd be relegated to being a midwife, with no hope of an MD. Bet you wouldn't miss malpractice insurance.... ;)

I could totally survive since I know how to hunt, fish, camp, make a fire from scratch (might take a while...), etc, but likely many ladies have mentioned, childbirth was a 50% crap-shoot for dying, and my personality and distaste for most things "domestic" makes me a poor choice for traditional female roles back then.…

MD, and budding real estate investor. Oh, and I make sure my trophy hubby (retired Navy at ripe age of 38) lives in the lifestyle he's grown accustomed to...

I agree with not living your life in fear, and as an adrenaline junky, I totally "get" the people who are being fairly flippant about the safety aspect of it. Kinda of the "YOLO" response. That being said, if you can do minor things that would make you less of a potential target for animals (wild or human), you should. I…

I started playing WoW after I lost my faction-fitted Golem in a high-sec gank. It took me 2 YEARS to build that ship. I cried for days and essentially rage-quit (even though I kept training....and paying). In WoW, you keep what you earn.

Entering 11th year of Eve-online.....I don't know if that makes me more proud, or embarrassed, lol. Putzing around in WoW, waiting on next expansion....year 7. You think all us 80s kids (the FIRST gamers! Woot!) will ever outgrow these things?

I love reading all of your adventures! It's great to have excellent friends!

This whole post almost had me snorting my coffee out of my nose.... So glad you guys had such a great time....and yes, your wife is awesome!!!

Used to be 45mins @ 75mph, one way. As of Tuesday, it became 3 min by car, <5 walking, 0.25miles away. (Basically, I live at the top of a hill, and my office is at the bottom.) WIN!!!!!

Don't "call" the doctor....GO to the doctor (i.e.: make an urgent appt TODAY).

Yes. I like cars. Pretty, fast ones, mostly....but others, on occasion. :glasses: For example....I find the burnt orange 84 Mustang above to be QUITE attractive.

ALL women have stretch marks. ALL men have stretch marks. Even the skinny ones. Even the ones who have been skinny their whole lives. I promise. I see naked bodies of all shapes and sizes daily. Yes, some of us have way MORE stretch marks, but they are not the end of the world, and I promise that if you're otherwise…

I don't do ugly cars.

You and me both....except I've gone FROM the the BodyMedia Fit Link to a Jawbone Up24, in the last couple of weeks. So far the Jawbone is telling me I'm NOT as active as my armband said I was. I wore the armband pretty much 24/7 for the last 2.5 years...

Legs for days! Congrats!

Thinking the weight will just "fall" off like it would when I was 20 (not that I tried then, but I wasn't fat then, so...). Now, I've COMPLETELY changed the way I eat and drink, yet....I'm maintaining. I guess this is better than gaining, but it is so VERY frustrating, when I have so much to lose (about 60-75 lbs). I know…

I spent 18 of the best years of my life in Houston...but alas, I'm of an even rarer breed. I'm a Native (5th generation) Floridian...

This. And then add something about your boyfriend as you're walking away....

Clearly, the people who are being snide about logging it, have likely never done it. For those of us that have, we damn sure DID earn those calories. Participating in a code is one of the most physically and emotionally draining things you can do in this world. And each one, success or failure, sticks with us....forever.

So someone is complaining about women doing something that is considered "normal behavior" in men? :noway:
-
I mean that pregnancy kills more women than birth control. By FAR. In this country, maternal mortality is very low and rare, thanks to modern medicine and availability of doctors. In countries without our medical resources, maternal and fetal mortality (death) can approach 50%. Pregnancy puts extreme stress on a woman's…

Yeah, I like being a blonde too (AND I have big boobs, lol). People never, EVER suspect what I do for a living. Every single day someone new, outside of work, learns I am a doctor, I get big, wide eyed stares. It's great!! ;) Especially in sports bars...where my hubby takes me just so he can watch me whip *kitten* at…
