I just bought Bravely Default yesterday and I'm itching to start it up today! I'm afraid to read reviews because I just want it to be SO GOOD! But do you like it?

I recently got back into Mechwarrior Online after taking a 3-4 month hiatus from gaming in general. The game seems to really want to fluctuate between whether it wants to be P2W or not. The current state of game balance doesn't give people who engage in RMT and pay real money any real advantage, other than early access to content that will be available to everybody in a matter of a few months. This is good for the gaming community as a whole and I think that this is when the game is most fun to play. The flip side is that sometimes it goes the other way, where people who have mechs and weapons that can only be purchased via RMT get such a ridiculously unfair advantage that you can't be competitive without it. MWO flips back and forth between the two.

When I want to do something single player I'll fire up Skyrim.

Playing FF13 (II) now. I just started it and serah is kinda freaking annoying but the gameplay is sick! I do want the music to be marginally better.

The last FF game I played and completed was 7. I played 8 and 10 also but the gameplay kept getting more linear and less inspiring each one. Like they were dumbing things down each release. A buddy of mine said the same things were true of 12 and 13.

FF13 itself was pretty linear. Not gonna lie. I'm also not a big sidequest person. There is a section for that.

But i think the fighting style has significantly improved since ten at least. So you know it's better and worse in some ways.

i would love a mash up of ff13 fighting style and ff10 in terms of story and gaming.

We'll see. I did hear. Lighting returns is freaking badass though. Haven't played though.

Third play through of the Mass Effect series (currently on ME2). Thinking about moving on to something else but every time I try to start a different game my brain protests that it's not ME.

Entering 11th year of Eve-online.....I don't know if that makes me more proud, or embarrassed, lol.

Putzing around in WoW, waiting on next expansion....year 7.

You think all us 80s kids (the FIRST gamers! Woot!) will ever outgrow these things?

Hell no we won't! And why waste time on WOW?? Shame! Shame shame shame!! One does not simply play EVE and WoW... No no no no! I must light a cyno and hot drop you know.

Try Archeage it's in open Beta this weekend - and goes live the 12th if I recall. It's like WoW meets EVE meets SWG. Sand box style of SWG but has the raids like WoW with the skill style off EVE - no limits can learn it all. Can't lie after a long day of rating and roaming in EVE it's nice to fire up Archage and do some farming and fishing to relax lol.

I started playing WoW after I lost my faction-fitted Golem in a high-sec gank. It took me 2 YEARS to build that ship. I cried for days and essentially rage-quit (even though I kept training....and paying). In WoW, you keep what you earn.

Ahhh yes the joys of EVE Online :D I gamble undocking to rat every time - I go out ratting in no less than a billion ISK setup if I use my carrier its closer to 3billion. Where we're setup now its insane the ISK you can make ratting - I can't imagine how stupid rich you could make on the market though.

I played EVE for around 5 years before stopping, i still have my account and have thought about starting up again but I just get so into the game it kinda re-arranges my life and its why i stopped in the first place.
