Thank you for your service, Marine! Hubby is retiring from the Navy after 20 years, in October, having completed 8 deployments. Can't wait to have my trophy hubby home for good! I agree with others....you've gone through hell and back. Losing weight will be easy, comparatively! Good luck!!

I think you've certainly earned it, but I totally understand your trepidation. As someone who has a long surgical scar going from just above my pubic bone to my sternum, I "get" it. It's faint, but it still makes me self-conscious when thinking about bathing suits. Have you considered a "monokini"? There are a ton out…

Endometrial ablation is simply the MECHANICAL destruction of the cells lining your uterus. Depending on the type you had, they used either super-warmed water, or radio frequency (essentially "microwaves") to "cook" your lining. Because the cells that create the endometrial lining are destroyed, they no longer grow and,…

Canada loves my passport. :)

Yep, except Homeland Security has hoarded it all. They don't want us getting too frisky, you know....

I am HORRIFIED at this obese example of man flesh. You should go diet and work out or something. Clearly, you are lazy and have NO self discipline. You should be ashamed to show yourself in public and you should make sure to cover up ALL of that horrendous flesh...it is offensive. Especially with tattoos. (please send junk…

I would, as long as I agreed to get a cook, maid, and a yard guy.....

I work in women's health and I say something along this line almost daily......

As someone with DEEP Southern roots....I LOVE this answer.

I was scared you would be a hoarder, but I read your bio. Cool stuff. :)

Or the bigger headache of unintended pregnancy (DAMN THOSE REBOUND MEN!!!)

Congratulations to you!!!! I'm sure I'll be experiencing much of the same as I try to finish the Tough Mudder Seattle in October...10-12 miles of muddy obstacle course over mountainous terrain. I'm just hoping to finish....lol. Rest, eat, reset! You did great!!!

Have you had an MRI? Headaches are not really a big side-effect of Mirena....matter of fact, they really shouldn't be caused by Mirena at ALL because Mirena's hormones stay localized to the uterus (ie: very, very little enters the bloodstream). You should see your Primary care doctor FIRST about this and then, after…

+1. I'm married with NO kids. If I ended up divorced and dating, I would be looking for a guy with no kids or grown kids (who are also OUT of the house). Some of us choose a different route, intentionally. It doesn't make us "flakes".

I'm an Ob/Gyn. That's total and utter BUNK. Being OVERWEIGHT makes your bladder / uterus fall (constant pressure from above). Bad genetics makes things fall. Having kids vaginally makes things fall. Smoking makes things fall (weakens the tissues over time). Running on pavement. NO.

You could just log activities on paper....old school like. ;) 1) Hiking the trails - 60mins 2) Running from Bison - 5 mins, Heartrate 140 3) Running from Bear - 2 mins, Heartrate 180 4) Standing in line at port-a-potty - 72 mins 5) Gathering firewood - 20 mins, weight 50lbs 6) Climbing tree (to retrieve child) - 42 mins,…

Agreed. Her self loathing (and others) are the reason health care is SOOOOO costly. All of our bad habits...added on to bad genes. Personally, I find it a very sad story, but there is a big difference between "empathy" and "enabling", when it comes to situations like this. As healthcare providers, it's our DUTY to inform…

You just wear it. Like jewelry. It records automatically. Depending on the model bought, it will either sync when you plug it in to your computer, or it will sync to your phone app on demand. From your phone app you can upload it to your computer / MFP / etc. I wear mine 24/7. The only time it comes off is for 20-30 mins…

Not if I'm trying to run....the "girls" are too busy smacking me in the chin.

I work 80 -100 hours a week. I will multitask in any way I can. I regularly bring my iPad to the gym...and yes, I can read while walking, and running. However, I'm usually trying to catch up on Game of Thrones or Walking Dead, etc. I do my lifting at home, so when I'm on the treadmill or whatever, I just need to motor…

This is me, currently. I had FINALLY geared up to being a top DPS on my realm just before MoP came out....between RL / Work and the grind to hit 90 (with concurrent "loss" of all my hard-earned gear) it just died for me. I've stayed paid up, and I keep TRYING to get interested again, mostly because I love my guildies (who…

This is truth. Call NOW, if you're still in the window. Doing it by phone will make it easier to stand your ground on the matter, even though you WILL likely have to go in and physically sign something to cancel "officially". By doing it this way, it will give you a chance to own your decision and give you time to screw up…

It does. I wear mine religiously as well, and have for a couple of years now. It's AWESOME! I have to admit I'm toying with the idea of a fitbit, however, as it's less obvious now that it's summertime and I'm wearing short sleeves / sleeveless shirts. I have a lovely armband-tan......

I'm in.... AND I HAVE A CLOSE FRIEND WHO OWNS A MAJOR T-SHIRT AND AD-ACCESSORIES company. He does t-shirts and other items (anything you can think of to possibly logo) for clientele such as the NBA, NFL, major Las Vegas casinos, and damn near every church in the city of Houston.... I have the hook up!!!
