I log daily as well.

Reddit is also a fantastic source for keto diet tips and tricks there are a few subreddits that are very active, one being r/keto. You should check them out.

I've been following a keto diet since January and am down 112 lbs so far, feel free to add me as a friend.

Yup everyone has different success on different plans, and you need to play around and see what works for you. I've had great success on LCHF/Keto diets and have lost 112 lbs since January, but YMMV.

Wishing you luck on your upcoming weight loss journey.

Join reddit. There are many subreddits based on keto/low carb including one dedicated entirely to recipes. Some popular sites include ruled.me, ibreatheimhungry, ketoconnect, peacelovelowcarb, lowcarbmaven, etc. I've been using a keto lifestyle since January, feel free to add me.

I log my measurements monthly. I do my neck, upper arms, chest, natural waist, waist (at belly button), hips, and thighs. I generally see a difference every month, except in my upper arms where I tend to lose more slowly.
-
Pretty much anyway I can eat them (as long as the whites aren't runny, ick). Gotta love a good scotch egg though.
-
Feel free to add me as well, I log daily with an open diary

I have the paderno 3 blade countertop model, and I love it. It is a bit bulkier, but I don't have to try to manipulate a hand held spiralizer and a vegetable which is good because I'm a klutz. The paderno only ran me $20 on amazon.

I don't log my exercise so that there is no temptation to eat back the calories. The estimates given by MFP and fitbits, etc. are grossly overestimated and could lead you to eat back more calories than you actually worked to burn off.
-
Feel free to add me as well, I log every day and my diary is open. :-)

Not a great option for noodles but roasted radishes are super delicious. For cabbage try twice baking it with sour cream like a faux baked potato.

@Shawn_in_OKC Keep it set to 2800 but aim personally to be below each day. That way you leave yourself wiggle room if you have a hungrier day, with no added guilt.
-
@Italian_Buju low carb high fat way of eating
-
Play around with the numbers to see what works for your body right now. I'm set at 2400 right now but rarely make it to that as I'm just not hungry (side effect of a LCHF WOE). So if you're not hungry don't feel obligated to eat your calories.

You've got this. The first step really is the reality shock of where you're starting. I started around there as well and it is terrifying. I've managed to lose 104lbs so far, but I've fallen off track being back in college for the past year. I'm just starting to kick my own butt back into shape. You can do this! One day at…

Slow week for me, but that's because my eating has been less than stellar. Didn't quite make goal, but still managed to hit 100lbs lost and lose 8.6lbs in June. SW: 403.8 CW: 311 GW: 300 LTGW: TBD Weigh ins will be on Thursdays for me. 05/06 - 307.8 lbs (-3.2lbs) 12/06 - 306.6 lbs (-1.2 lbs) 19/06 - 303 lbs (-3.6lbs) 26/06…

Only 3 sizes lost. Plus sizes have sooo much stretch to them that I find going by clothing size not at all accurate.
-
If it's digital it may need to be recalibrated. Next time look for a model that does it automatically!

Huge loss this week! It brought me to 100lbs lost in total since I've started my healthier lifestyle 15 months ago! Woohoo! SW: 403.8 CW: 311 GW: 300 LTGW: TBD Weigh ins will be on Thursdays for me. 05/06 - 307.8 lbs (-3.2lbs) 12/06 - 306.6 lbs (-1.2 lbs) 19/06 - 303 lbs (-3.6lbs) 26/06 -

First 100lbs gone! It took just over 14 months, but with thyroid issues and PCOS I'll take it!
-
I'm sorry you are having a difficult time with this, but it isn't the end of the world. Ask for condiments/dressings on the side, any restaurant will sub salad/vegetables for fries/potatoes/rice just ask, only eat half the meal and drink lots of water. Realistically I know I won't be able to avoid eating out for the rest…

Water retention. Not really a major problem, but it is frustrating when I'm so close to hitting that 100lb mark!
