I pay $77/month and it includes all kinds of classes, spa treatments, etc. My gym is also a licensed spa and serves wine and food Hahaha. I'm a bit spoiled.

I recently joined a local private women's only gym (about a month and a half ago), and signed up for a personal trainer and it was the best decision I have ever made for myself. Go to a few local gyms in your area and see what they are like. You will find one that is more appealing than the others, be it women only, one…

Anyone can feel free to add me as well, I like brutally honest friends. :-)

Amazing, and great motivation! Thanks for sharing.

Sumo squats while holding a weight is what my personal trainer has me doing for inner thigh work.

I love having a personal trainer. She really pushes me to try things I didn't know I was capable of, learn to lift weights properly to avoid injury, and motivates me to keep going during the workout when I want to give up.

I did 343 minutes of exercise (not including walking the dogs) and burned 4455 calories this week. :-D

I like this idea, the water one isn't a challenge for me though it's all I drink except for one cup of coffee in the morning so I get plenty! The logging one is a good idea, I wish I wasn't going to camp starting on the weekends with no cell signal otherwise I'd be all over that. I think I like the exercise one best.

Deciding is the hard part, I came to that 7 weeks ago and I'm so glad I found the MFP community.

I'm on my second week with a personal trainer, you will love it!

I'm new, but I'm here! I usually use the app from my phone and it doesn't allow me to access the community so I don't always post in here but I do on my wall. :-) Anyone can feel free to add me as a friend.

Our garden is about 50 ft x 30ft and is my husband's domain. We also have several apple trees, pear trees, cherry trees, and blueberry bushes. The only thing in our garden right now is garlic, since we still have snow melting off the ground.

I've started weight training over the past 2 weeks, so to avoid discouragement I've been doing measurements instead of weighing. I have only been weighing myself once a month.

I've got about 40 more pounds to lose than you, but I am also 26/f and 5'7!

I added you. :-) I have a significant amount of weight to rid myself of, so I will definitely be your cheerleader! I have a genetic condition that causes severe pain all through my neck and shoulders, but found that therapeutic yoga has been so beneficial. May be worth checking out classes in your area. :-)

Since I have started working out the scale hasn't been moving, but I have lost 5 inches off my waist and another 4 off of my hips. Validation.

I started just walking around my neighbourhood with the dogs, but I was getting bored and needed to change things up. I found a gym that works for me (all women, really good equipment, spa environment) and I LOVE going. Try out a few different gyms and see what works for you.

I'm Sarah and I'm a newbie! I have been on MFP for a month, and have lost 12 lbs but still have far to go! I'm 26 and live in (what feels like lately) the land of perpetual snow in northern Ontario. I've decided I'm sick of being unhealthy, and haven't looked back. I recently joined a local fitness gym for women…
