if you have your activity level set to active maybe try lowering it to lightly active. you may need fewer than 2,043 calories a day if the scale isn't moving. you need to adjust the variables

you can definitely do this and i personally drink about 4-5 cups throughout the day. the rest of the time i am drinking water and i start my day and end my night with a lot of water. coffee is more likely to dehydrate you. also no milk or sugar if your goal is weight loss. i've read that milk negates the benefits of tea…

haha thx i didn't mean to sound snippy if i came across that way not eating back the calories makes sense only if you are eating a lot more calories than the minimum then i assume it balances out. i gather most people here are eating the minimum calories so if you don't eat them back you are not getting enough nutrition…

i run 4 times a week then walk 2 to give my legs a break but still maintain some exercise. otherwise i'm just too sedentary. once a week i let myself be lazy

that wasn't my question though of course i eat back my exercise calories

i wouldn't be eating the extra calories just to eat more but if you have an extra 50 or so everyday it should all balance out if you have one day a week that is more calories. i think i read it's actually good to go over a bit once a week

yeah i have been aiming for at least a week of cardio since it's as good for the mind as it is for the body. last time i got down to 140 i was way too lanky looking at 5'8. i overexercised but didn't eat back enough calories hoping to do it slow but right this time

thx for the replies! i know exercise and more food helps speed up your metabolism i tend to eat the healthier stuff in the morning so some of the food i eat post exercise isn't always the best for me. need to make it fruit or something with protein
