Seconding Bandelettes so, so hard. Here's something I wrote on a message board about them recently Let me be your hero, baby. Introducing: Bandelettes. I am a solid size 14, with traditional hourglass curves, so my thighs and booty are pretty rocking. I had about a good solid 45 minutes in a dress in summer (in ONTARIO)…

You guys are amazing! Smiling more already :) And bonus points for taking my post literally with the vegetable-related humour. Also, here's my addition: Guy walks into a bar, empty save for the bartender. He orders a beer, helps himself to some bar snacks and begins to relax. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, he hears a…

The only .gif I've ever needed.

God, I miss "The Wall" Perfection in a Game Show.

Holy crap... I accidentally rented this and "Dancer in the Dark" one night. Took me days to recover. I was just a mumbling, wide-eyed mess.

jenluvsushi said: Ugh. I forgot about this. I just stay away from Walmart in all conversations. Angers up the blood.

That ticks you off? Could of fooled me. *ducks*

I'll agree on gun laws, though I'm Canadian so there's precious little of that kind of vitriol in the circles I travel in. Lately, it's been the f word - feminism. I used to try to get into those kind of discussions but lately they just make me depressed so for the majority of them I try to smile politely, shake my head…

Mrs. Doyle? I think I love you.

Ugh, I *know* right? There is no good outcome of that kind of action. If shaming people made them change their ways, every kid in middle school would be a supermodel. And totally LOL'ed over "some putz"

I really tried to get angry about this but I just feel so.. sorry. So sad. Your response makes it clear that you define yourself and others by their appearance - in fact, not only by their appearance, but by their weight. Which is so small-minded I just.. like I said, sorry and sad. "How dare you try to define me by my…

Freedom of speech is not freedom from criticism. He can say what he wants but 100 people can say right back that he's a bullying cowardly concern troll for saying it.

I'd argue that trying to make the world an easier place for those who look different *is* bettering the world. By speaking up she's telling kids who are overweight that they can follow their dreams to be a tv journalist, that just because they might not fit into a certain perception of an acceptable appearance that they…

I read the series and then started reading it again, out loud, to the boyfriend. Finished the first book and about 1/3 of the way through the second (no *you* have a weird idea of foreplay). We'll definitely go see it but.. you know, we're grown-*kitten* adults. I don't know if we can handle the teenybopper nonsense of…

Amen, sister. Very well put. My boyrfriend's great uncles lived together for years and were so close they even died within 1.5 hours of each other. To say that their lives as doctors, serving their community, giving much of their sizeable wealth to the church and charities in their wills should not have been spent together…

very interesting. So drinking 6 a week or drinking none at all lead to the same level of vascular health? Man.. no more pop on Sundays for me ;)

European cut? Sweet! Never heard that before. I will totally look into that, thanks!

You inspired me to count them. You also inspired me to change my profile pic ;) If I don't count slippers (if I can't wear 'em out it just ain't the same) I have: 11 pairs of boots 3 pairs of slippers 6 pairs of sandals 15 pairs of flats 10 pairs of casual shoes/sneakers 14 pairs of high heels Which makes a grand total of…

Sure do, and always have. When we first started dating 5 years ago he was what my goal weight is now (145 lbs.) He's bulked up to about 170 since then but I still outweigh him by about 4 pounds. Let's just forget about the fact that he's 6'1" and i'm 5'5"... S'okay though. I always say, "I don't date 'em if I can't…

Definitely not the only one. Six Seasons and a movie!!! 12 seasons and a theme park!! If I had to choose between Community and Modern Family.. I think i would lose water weight from tears shed.

The store was all out of the boxed kind so I pulled on my big girl pants and decided to try making falafel from scratch. Wish me luck. If you don't hear from me in a few hours- send take-out.

I think the "plus-sized" model in these ads is beautiful. The campaign is commendable (though it's important to remember that anorexia isn't a "body type" - it's a disease) because it's trying to add some body positivity to a rather negative industry and I think that's important. Not representing plus-sized (or even…

Ha! Awesome. Good stuff! I made an attempt once:http://cheezburger.com/Trasker/lolz/View/4379764992

I just posted about this! All these girls in their lululemon "stretching" for 20 minutes at a time with their feet up on the machines so people can't use them. Guys joking with each other and maybe MAYBE doing one set of weights every 10 minutes. And then one time, this poor sad sack just sat on one of the machines with…

Oh God, Pam's the best. Adore her. I mean, she's a whole different awesome than Jessica but .. yeah. Love Pam.

My name comes from a song by the Canadian band, The Odds. "Well, I'm a low level rebel I jaywalk to beat the devil I'm no bass but lots of treble All the things about me are forced" Worked for me ;) (P.S. I'll happily admit I have no clue what you're talking about as an explanation for your name, but i heartily support…

I picked up a bottle (okay, 2) of ponche crema when I was in Venezuela - it's sort of like bailey's but with a creamy, vanilla-y flavour instead of irish cream (which i'm not too fond of). I can't wait to put it in hot chocolate, eggnog, or just poor the whole mother into a mug and lay comatose till spring.

I've only seen up to the end of season 3, but I looove Jessica too - why is everyone in the cast going after the equally (more so?) whiny Sookie when they could have her? Mama mia!

Wow.. just.. Wow.
