There's a group here on MFP where people are sharing about 21DF/X including their favorite Fix Approved recipes: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/103806-21-day-fixers

@jacquirich Wonderful! I'm pretty excited. I'd start sooner, frankly, if I weren't going out of town. But we'll be in it together! In just under three weeks!!!

@TheFo1dOut I can't do the Surrenders. Between my bad knees and my balance, I find them impossible. Even without weights. Even using a chair for balance. I've tried more than once to make them work for me and I finally gave up. Maybe a year from now I'll try again. But for now I'm content modifying what Kat does. Modifying…

@TheFo1dOut I did PiYo with 21 Day Fix and LOVED it. There were a few times when I chose to rearrange the PiYo schedule because I didn't want to do lower body stuff back to back but the two workouts really complement one another nicely. Plus, PiYo seems to be one of the workout programs that beachbody likes to "hybrid"…

@jpkrueger I think it's safe to say that Holly is better. I was afraid to say anything too soon because I had already thought she was on the mend and then she had another round of diarrhea. We're still mixing a bit of rice in with her food but by tomorrow she will be back to eating normally. Yesterday was her "birthday"…

@bethberg12 I don't know how to help because I haven't had this problem. And I'm not sure what you mean by "family-style dinners" so I think that's a part of my confusion. I mean, we had company over yesterday and I had no problem figuring out which containers I had eaten. I'd even saved my yellows for a glass of wine with…

@KingsGirl4 I start Thursday and I normally don't log my food but I can and will for the 3DQF.

I don't engage. I don't even encourage the OP with "it's a great program" or anything like that. I just say "We have a great group here on MFP for people using the program where we share tips, recipes, and our success stories." Then I add a link to this group and I'm done. I don't even check the message board after that.…

Quinoa is a type of grain and can be served savory (as a rice substitute) or sweet (instead of oats), depending on the recipe you use. I would not mix it with rice but I might with beans, depending on the recipe I'm using.
-
@KingsGirl4 Autumn says you can drizzle it on your food.

@sarahrbraun Awesome NSV that people are noticing a slimmer you! I had one treat meal and I'm up 2 lbs but I am pretty sure I can drop that weight fairly quickly. Just have to buckle down! This is my third week with 21DFX so I'll have some new results to share on Monday.

Busy Wonderful Birthday Yesterday was Rob's birthday so I took a day off from being online much but not a break from my exercise. I baked a cake and we had a fantabulous day. Including pizza and cake and ice cream. Yesterday's Workout 21DFX: W3/D1: Plyo Fix Extreme Previously I would do this and go up on my toes a bit but…

I'll be starting one week later (on vacation through the 12th) but I won't be too far behind.

Yeah. Fluid ounces and solid ounces are definitely two different things. That's why I think a lot of people who are just winging it with the information online about the size of the containers and such are possibly not getting the right 21 Day Fix food plan experience. We have 2 sets of measuring cups--one for liquid and…

Holly Sick With Diarrhea Still When we first rescued Holly it took forever to find the right food for her, something that wouldn't give her diarrhea. I am pretty sure that we are okay and that her food is not the cause but something definitely has her digestion messed up and, as a result, my sleep is a mess as well. Weekly…

@venuila Have you read the food plan that comes with the program? I ask because Autumn specifically says that if you do more than 21 Day Fix (and I believe the book actually lists Insanity as one of the other programs) then you should consider going up a food bracket. If you aren't providing your body enough fuel to build…

@mrsewert It is definitely more challenging at times but you will survive. I know this because I'm in week 2 and I'm still able to type. So definitely surviving.
-
@mrsewert Awesome results! You must be bouncing off walls. Curious to see what my results will be for 21 Day Fix Extreme. Finishing up week 2 right now and week 3 is just around the corner.

@KingsGirl4 I don't know what the dates were but I did track my food when I did the 3 Day Quick Fix one time and my calories and protein were more like what @venuila said. Ranged around 1000 calories and nowhere near 200g protein. I think your measurements may be off. A red container holds approximately 3-4 ozs of…

@RandomA1 I did the same thing even though, because my husband is diabetic, I know that peas are high in sugar. But then sugar snap peas are a green and pumpkin is but also isn't. Cubed pumpkin is a green but pumpkin puree is a yellow. And it makes sense. Cubed pumpkin is not going to be as many ounces as puree. And guess…

@TheFo1dOut I agree with everything @jpkrueger said. I'd add only that it sounds to me like you would do really well if you were to plan out your meals ahead. You may still skip a container here and there but you're less likely to do so if you have your day's meals and snacks planned out. Even if all you do is plan out how…

Damn Damn Damn We thought we had Slim in 6 Ramp It Up working but we didn't. Not really. And I only found out about 2/3 or more into the workout. I don't know what I should have done after the DVD stopped and wouldn't play anymore. I just know that I finished off the set, sank into child's pose, and cursed up a storm of…
-
@engodwin That's what I'm counting on. I'll probably have to modify a lot because I'm not supposed to do anything high impact so no jumping jacks or fast feet. Even burpees and mountain climbers have to be changed to protect my knees and ankles. But hey! Doctor's orders--I'm not supposed to do burpees or mountain climbers!…

@sarahrbraun Autumn talks about this in the Food Plan and in videos as well. When/if you have trouble getting in all of your containers on one day, make that color container (in your case, the green one) your priority the next day and make sure you eat all that are allotted to you in your food bracket. I know I've missed…
-
@Northern37 Congratulations! This is an amazing program and you aren't the first person I've seen say they had good results even though they weren't following the plan to perfection. :)
-
@TheFo1dOut If you make a dip using organic non-fat Greek yogurt then the brand is not important. So, unless Oikos has an organic version, the answer is "no." Just buy another plain organic yogurt and use that for dips. Yes, it's still a red but you probably won't eat a whole red container as a dip so you can always add…
-
@venuila I was just telling my husband the other day that the food containers might have made feeding my fussy eater easier because what toddler doesn't love colorful things that fit inside one another like a puzzle? I'll bet if you let your toddler play with the containers like a toy for a day or two and then start…

Morning Workout 21DF: W2/D2: Upper Body Fix Extreme & 10 Minute Hardcore According to the workout schedule, I was supposed to be doing 10MH on Tuesdays and Thursdays but I wanted to ease into the Extreme stuff and I'm glad I did. I am definitely going to have to build up to some of these exercises (like the plank with a…
