  • It can be mind blowing when you realize that the vast vast majority of foods out there contain GMO's... I tried to buy a box of cereal at Target (yes, I know it is not the best choice but its what I had at the time) and out of the entire full shelves of cereal there was only ONE box of cereal that was non GMO. Post Grape…

  • this is such an issue, I really understand!!! My mom is in a wheelchair because the doctors missed a serious hip diagnosis, blaming her pain on her weight. She felt so bad about her weight that she did not press the issue. It was only until she lost 60lbs and the pain was worse than before that her doctors finally figured…
  • fantastic motivations people! Thanks! Makes me tear up a little bit as I read some of them, and I am glad to be in good company with you all!
  • wow! 107 lbs lost! good for you for sure! It is funny how sometimes it can be a positive motivation, and sometimes a negative one! I am genetically predisposed for hip replacement surgery sometime in my future, and my mom needs it right now but is too overweight for the surgery, so she is in a wheelchair. I need to not be…

I would like some more recipes also, and I really like my greens and veggies. I am always…

  • totally need to start a tall gal club! I am 5'10" and currently about to break the 200lb barrier. I was 145 after losing 50lbs 5 years ago, and then gradually put it all back on again. Now I will be thrilled if I get to 150. At my thinnest I could fit into a size 8, but really size 10 is where I will end up for the most…
  • Hi Edina! Nice to meet you! Congrats on beating the cancer and for starting the weight loss journey!
  • HI Folks! What an inspiration to find this group! I have a very rare type of Ocular (eye) cancer that I was treated for this past winter. I am not technically in "remission" yet, but am waiting for more test results in May to determine if the treatment was successful or not. It's called Choroidal melanoma.
