May I add you as a friend? You are truly inspiring.

I enter eggs separate from the olive oil and greek yogurt i use to make them. I'm a bit paranoid about missing calories. Had large eggs tonight and they were each 70 calories.

Iowa here! "Felt like 103" with 60% humidity.... more like the fires of hell. I danced my awkward butt off with Just Dance on my wii in the air conditioning.

Welcome back! Can i add you as a friend? In the last 1.5yrs, I've gone from 112 to 191 (nursing school). I can barely do 10 minutes of cardio - a far cry from running 5k and 10ks. New start.

Add me! I'm around 164 right now, I'd like to at least get back to 130 (I was ~115 last year).

I dreamed I was pregnant, but then the baby disappeared. I went to an urgent care clinic and tried to explain it to them, and ended up confusing them and myself because pregnancies don't just disappear, lol.

I'm 160, trying to get back down to 120-125!

2015-2016 I did bulk up a bit, and I loved how it felt and looked. Especially how it felt, as I work as a CNA and lift/roll people on a regular basis... the strength I had was nice. I was doing squats (barbell and goblet), barbell deadlifts, barbell hip thrusts, dumbbell lunges, bicep curls, barbell bench press, and a…

I didn't even think about that! I used to have 10- and 15-lb dumbbells, but they were left in a different state after a break-up 3 years ago, and I never got them back. :)

No worries! I need to hear that. I'm a student in an accelerated bachelor's of nursing program, and the minimum they require us to study is at least 2-3 hours per day per class to maintain a C average (I put in about 5-8 hours a day, not including class). Throw in work and sleeping, and I've got about an hour or two free…

I can't do weekly cheat meals - I ALWAYS go overboard, and cheat meals turn into cheat days, which turn into cheat weeks. If I'm craving something, I try to allow myself a small portion, then carry on with my day. That way I'm not depriving myself, which makes me less inclined to break the unhealthy eating cycle. I…

I too am looking for more active loggers! :) I'm 5'3, 160lbs, nursing student, working on mindful eating (binge eating disorder), calorie tracking, and upping my activity level. I keep my diary open for accountability!

I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly either. I don't measure my belly, as that can change drastically day to day, depending on my water retention. For my waist, I measure at the point where I can see the inward curve. Upper arm, I measure at the halfway point between my shoulder and elbow. Thigh, I measure around the…

Thanks for the advice! I'll stick with the bodyweight exercises then! To be honest, I was inwardly cringing at the thought of using those 5-lb dumbbells. I miss the home gym we used to have, and my gym membership. Once I move back into a house with a spacious basement, I'll probably invest in more equipment.

Hey! I'm not sure if this group is still active or not, but I'd like to participate! My name is Jo, and I'm a 27-year old BSN student. I binged quite a bit when I was in my teens and early 20s. In 2013, I found MFP and began tracking. Over a couple years, I went from 144 to 120. Made more slow progress, and I was down to…

I try to limit myself to once a week! But sometimes curiosity gets the better of me.

Her hair! Perfectly styled. (And eyes.)

I need those glasses.

I'm with you! I've got about 40 pounds to shed.

I suffer from emetophobia as well. It didn't show up till I was an adolescent, but for many years, it took over and I was terrified to be around anyone. I was also overly cautious with everything I ate. It got to the point that I would throw out food that had only been in the fridge for 2-3 days. I feel for you. Have you…

I'm in my last year of nursing school, so I feel your pain! I gained 40+ pounds this year, and have recommitted to exercising more and mindful eating. Here's a couple things that have helped me in the past: - Going for walks in between classes, or before/after. It's a good way to de-stress, get some fresh air, and mentally…

I love dark roast coffee - but never quite acquired a taste for drinking it without creamer or milk. I prefer full fat milk with stevia, or a couple tablespoons of creamer (current favorite: Coffeemate Butter Pecan).

Peanut butter! <3

Peanut butter and cheese. Ice cream, to a lesser extent... I've been indulging in a pint of Halo Top or Enlightened every once in awhile and it helps with the craving!

I feel for you. Several years ago I was strength training, running a couple miles every day, and eating fairly well. I was sidetracked by nursing school and a stressful job, and thinking about jumping back into that lifestyle at 30lbs heavier feels overwhelming. I agree with many previous posters, baby steps! Make one…

Thanks for the feedback - Geodon seems to affect everyone in a different way, regarding weight. I was surprised that it suppressed my appetite to such a large degree, as I heard about Geodon weight gain considerably more than Geodon weight loss. I am on Seroquel now (low dose), but did not have issues with appetite…

Everyone has setbacks - you just have to choose to keep moving forward, even if you're discouraged and on your 50th "starting over". Gradually your life will change in positive ways! None of it is a quick fix. You show great motivation! Friend me if you want!

Congratulations! Stories like yours are so inspiring!

Sending a friend request! :) I am also 5'3.75! Started around 144lbs, currently at 120.2lbs. I'd like to get down to about 115, so I'm pretty close to my goal. I'm terrible with consistency and the changes I made were slow, so it took me a couple years to reach this point.
