This made my head hurt lol

I have a polar and it serves me well :-) It only cost my husband $85 as a birthday gift to me, so if I had to pay $13/month.. which isn't really all that "expensive" for what it does for you.. I wouldn't mind :-) I've had it a while now.. and no battery problems. But each to their own.. Now I've said that, it'll probably…

Can someone please tell me what "carbs" are good for? Is it energy? Sorry if that sounded dumb.. But say you go a little over your carb goal, not much just a little.. what does that mean?

The overwhelming WANT and NEED to feel amazing in whatever I wear.. and feel confident again, like I once did :-)

What's your calorie intake for the day? I say this because even though you feel "full" you need to be eating a certain amount for healthy weight loss and making sure you aren't putting your body into starvation mode.. which sometimes means even if we don't feel like we're starving, it's still undergoing that process which…

It's not a wagon really.. it's just logging all your food and exercise you do.. and hey, if you want to eat 3 snickers bars... exercise for them. It's really simple if you don't let your mind run away and over think it too much. If you want to have a brownie.. exercise for it. Simple :-)

Agree :-D

If I want something like icecream or chocolate I have it.. I just work out harder :-)

I LOVED this article. This was actually me!! I am also a recovering clean eater. I have done it twice now.. and both times lost weight. Then failed and put it all back on. Trust me when I say clean eating is not all it's cracked up too be. I restricted myself so much that I binged harder than ever before after a week. And…

Awesome positive read! I think the true successful key to weight loss is to find what works for you.. I have attempted to lose weight twice now, this being my third time.. both different ways and both has led me to put the weight back on. I am giving the MFP thing a go now, and it is working for me! I don't feel like I'm…

That guy! Listen to him! :-)

See how you go after a little while, everyone is different. 1200 cals is the bare minimum that is recommended for healthy weight loss, so technically 1300 isn't "unhealthy". Although it's hard to judge if it's right for you because I'm not sure on your exercise daily etc. If you're burning 600 calories per day in exercise…

I also suggest going and getting a HRM :-) MFP isn't accurate at all exercise wise! I have a polar HRM.. cost me $90 on ebay and I love it :-)

Your net calories SHOULD be equaling your goal.. meaning if you've been given 1400 from MFP and that's what the first one reads, you should be eating as close to that goal as possible each day. There is alot of argument over whether or not to eat back your exercise calories, but if you're doing all of it through MFP it's…

Your weight can fluctuate day to day. This is why they say not to weigh yourself everyday, and do it once a week or fortnight (if you can hold for that long).. me personally I can't. I have had to train myself to not look at the scales everyday, because when doing this I would find one day I moved 100 grams and I got…

I agree with gradually cutting down also, I used to have 5/6 sugars in my teas and now I only have 1!!!

HI everyone, I thought I would write a comment on this thread because it is along the lines of what has happened with me. Exactly one year ago now, I lost 12 kgs. 2 years before that (before my 2nd child was born) I managed to lose 15 kgs. I have since put it all back on.. except maybe 1 or 2 kgs. I honestly just looked at…

Hello newbie! I'm feeling positive too! Let's do this! It's amazing for making you accountable for your food and exercise per day isn't it! I should have listened to you earlier about this! I was just so lazy that I couldn't be bothered typing in everything I ate. But it is so motivating and so worth it! No wonder I wasn't…
