I am following a workout plan as well, and I workout 6 days a week.

Try doing your measurements. With workouts you could definitely be building muscle, and then those muscles will help to burn the fat. Don't be frustrated!!! You are doing things right, you just have to stick with it and the results will come! Best of luck to you!!

I am doing a hybrid combination of the two, and love them both!! Chalean is a lot of strength training, so you need a few dumbells, Turbo fire is a lot of cardio and that comes with the resistance band. But you can do any of the workouts with no equipment at all. I started with Turbo Jam and LOVED it. Now I am doing Turbor Fire and Chalean Extreme, but they have tons of other workouts depending on what you are interested in. if you go to beachbody.com they have something great for everyone.

Most definitely!! I started a new hybrid workout, combination of weight training and high intensity cardio, and this is my 3rd week. That scale has only gone down 2 pounds, but I have lost 10 1/4 inches, so I am now walking by my scale and instead of giving it the evil eye, I am just going to ignore it!! :)

Some cable companies offer a fitness channel with the regular lineup. Here we have Time Warner, and the channel is on its on demand programing. There are tons of workouts you can do whenever you want to do them.

I definitely prefer to do all my at home workouts without shoes on. I wear them on my elliptical, but only because it doesn't have a smooth base!
