  • Increase your fats/oils. There are some great healthy options. (Oils & fats are 9calories/gram as opposed to carbs and protein which are about 4-5 calories/gram).
  • Women and men are different when it comes to weight issues. Men typically have more muscle mass. Muscle mass requires calories just to maintain itself metabolically. Men lose faster AND have an easier time maintaining due to this fact.
  • Lower your carbs AND calories. 1.) Carbs cause spikes in insulin, which is what helps you add fat to your body.   • Get rid of them! Keeping them is like saying you plan to gain the weight back. Have faith in yourself that you'll keep it off. If you were to gain weight down the road, chances are you wouldn't want to wear the old ones you saved anyway. I did, however save a pair of my favorite large pants to remind me where i've been : )
