Moe0112, Your experience is completely normal so far. Don't worry about lack of nutrients vitamin supplements will carry you through until you can get them with food. At 9 months I'm just now getting most of my nutrients from food. Your focus now is to get your water first 48 - 64 oz is what most plans ask for. Then the…

I had wine at 5 weeks and quit half way through the second glass, because I could feel it. This topic has been discussed before in these lists. Most everyone had the same problem I did, quicker reaction to the alcohol. I'm 9 months out now but haven't tried it again. Randy

Your meter is not always accurate because of the quality. All meters have a range of error and isn't usually a big deal. With three or more readings just average them and then you will have a more accurate results. Randy

Metformin and VSG I was taking 1000 mg twice a day. Metformin cannot be crushed or broken to make it small enough to take after surgery. A lot of people don't know this even though it is in the manufacturer information. By the time I could take the metformin I didn't need it anymore. Randy (regesterd nurse)

We can't choose our family, but we can our friend's. Treat yourself this holiday to something special. Maybe a Sunday brunch or a movie.

That's fantastic news, good for you. I know how hard you had to work for this.

Sleeve surgery patients don't get dumping syndrome like by bass patients do. This is one of the benefits of the sleeve.

What surgery are you asking about?
-
I also had acid reflux damage but got sleeve surgery anyway. My Dr had me on antacids from day one and I haven't had any problems. If you read through all of the post here in MFP you will find several people have acid reflux issue after surgery. Talk to your Dr more about this.

Strength training with a trainer is good, and will be a positive in your life. I also recommend an aerobic exercise plan, swimming is great. The deal with swimming is no joint pressure, water aerobics classes are, great. Randy

I was able to sleep on my side from day one, I also had minimal pain.
-
I highly recommend deep water aerobics classes for anyone with joint or back problems. The work out we with water residents has no impact at all. Randy

We all have had stalls and they are frustrating to say the least. But in the big picture your weight loss will continue as long as you keep doing your part.

You're looking great, good job

Ditto what Thaeda said, and your weight loss expectations are too optimistic it your stage. Randy

That's a great milestone good for you.

Yes, I can't get the 3500 either but I'm not having leg cramps. I think the MFP is off for the calories we have. Randy
