I'd fess up, as well. There's no sense in carrying the guilt around. He will clearly see how upset you are and maybe the two of you can look for it. Like the other person said, it's only a watch. I know it sucks and its incredibly disappointing, but it could always be worse! The guilt and worry of keeping this from him…

I work hard to lose 2lbs / week on average. That means working out for 45 mins or more a day for 6 days a week. And I am very aware of my food (thank goodness for the food diaries) I guess what I am trying to say, is that it can be done...it just depends on how bad you want it. And then there's no guarantee that your body…

congrats! That's awesome!

great story to share! Thanks!

Welcome! I love it here!!

I moved my elliptical into my spare bedroom and started watching TV while I exercise. I figure if I'm going to watch TV anyways, I might as well be working out too! Obviously this doesn't work for every workout...but it does for my elliptical. Plus, I'm usually surprised to realize how much I'm sweating since it always…

CONGRATS!!

when I can't find exactly what I am looking for, I tend to find the next closest thing and be done with it. When I'm sure unsure, I lean towards whatever one has slightly more rather than less calories, just to be safe....but honestly, I don't have the patience to search and search everytime either.

good for you!!

Love it!! That must have made you feel so accomplished!

Thanks so much everyone! I am feeling better! :) You are right, all that advice is worth taking and I will. I just need to set mini-goals for myself and make sure that my days and weeks are going right and the rest will follow! This is why I love MFP!

Red Robin - Ensenada Chicken (tastes yummy and isn't killer on the calories) comes with a salad.

I've been there, and I'm dying to get back there! Good for you!!

 It's totally normal! It's the trade off between losing weight and building muscle/toning. The muscle weighs more than fat, so when you are toning up you may gain a little or stay at the same weight. Don't panic, it the inches that matter most!! Eventually the rest of your body will catch up. Muscle burns more…

Don't stress!! According to the calendar, today is "Eat what you want" day. Lucky for me, I wanted a salad. But that's only because I wanted/needed a bowl of cereal after dinner 2 nights this week. ;)

YAY!! Congrats on your victory!! Both of those things a super BIG deals!! So sorry to hear of your Mother's day sadness - I'm glad that your workout success was able to cheer you up!

I changed my sodium goal; to lower that number. I don't freak out too much if I go over, but when I hit 1500 I start drinking a lot of water to offset the higher soduim amounts. It's not a goal I can hit daily, but it makes me aware of high sodium foods once I see that number go in the red.

I mostly get my clothes at Goodwill right now, with the occasional purchase from a department store. Also, I have clothes swaps with friends and coworkers, so we can exchange sizes that work for all of us. It's actually kept my wardrobe everchanging and fun to try styles that I wouldn't have bought myself.

Congratulations!! Sounds like a good NSV to me!

For the 30 day shred, I use "circuit training; general". I'm not sure what the Challenge consists of, but I know that Jillian is a big proponent of cardio + strength + core, so I would guess it's the same. Sorry I don't know for sure!

It's a good place to be! Welcome!

I make extra when I cook chili and then freeze the extra in serving size containers. It's super easy to heat up later. If I know I will want it sometime during the week, I just put it in the fridge to thaw. It's super easy. I cook mine with venison; it's low -cal since the meat is so lean.

Welcome!! I love it too!!

OMgosh! I have been using this site for over a year now. I used other sites before, but visited this one on a recommedation. I LOVE IT HERE! It is by far the BEST site that I've ever used. I love the tracking of food and exercise as it helps me stay accountable with food and workout. My second favorite part is the support…

I recently bought a digital scale at Wal-Mart for $25. It says that I am the same weight as the dr's office - so it's accurate!!

We're out own worst critic, aren't we? I totally get where you're coming from - although I've never lost 60lbs (that's my goal though) I've lost about 25lbs and people notice. So I CANNOT imagine that no one would notice after losing 60 lbs!! Give yourself some credit for the amazing progress and transformation that you've…

Curves is basically a gym that's set up for circuit training. I used to go, years ago - but I find I get a better workout at home. Things may have changed though, they usually do.....so maybe you get a better workout now?? It was nice because you could weigh in and get measured there, so it took the duty out of doing it at…
