I was thinking high sugar as well where you would be eating it twice a day. I think it is classified as high on the GI scale so I can't see how it would be good for you. Anyone try the Activa one?

What is boots? Are you wearing the same clothing, same day of the time and week? If not that might be why the numbers are different. You should also always measure on the same scale. Place one some where in the house and leave it there. You shouldn't be moving or using different scales.

You can freeze lots of things and have it later. I make lasagna, meet sauce, sloppy joe, scrambled hamburger, chicken breast and so on.

It is not even a once in a while thing. I drink water with lemon juice in it all day long. I never had this hungry all the time feel since my first week. I pretty much eat the same meals so there shouldn't be much difference that way. I meet my protein goal and calorie goal so I don't get why I am so much hungry this week.

I would even just more strength. It is getting a little hard though seeing numbers. I gained 3lbs when I weighed in last monday. I wish I had of taken measurements. It seems weird to gain 3lbs of muscle/water retention so my mind goes to fat.

Thanks for all the comments everyone. I started trying to alternate from upper body and lower body. I am also going to try to do some squats, lunges and those type of things. Anyone have an idea on how long it will take me to build muscle?

I am not afraid to lift weights. I just know there is a difference in they way you do it to build bulk and build endurance. I just want to know as a female what is the best way for me to maximize my time and define my muscles while losing body fat. It just never seems building muscle works for me.

I did the same thing you did. I bumped up my work out,at 1200cals but started to eat some back, did some strength training and yet I gained 3lbs. I still want to cry about it.

Well if he wants to put on weight you should figure out what his calorie intake would be to maintain weight. Then he should eat more calories then that number to gain. What might be a good idea is for him to lift weights and gain muscle mass. Meal replacements would be good for him as a snack threw out the day but not to…

How often should you have a protein shake? How much protein should you have? Is it ok to go over the default protein number? Do you only have it on days you do weights?

Well I switched all my bread and pasta types to whole wheat. I picked up the healthier options to the foods I now eat. I am with you. The only thing I can say is watch tv or listen to music while you do it. I also like to try to mix mine up with a wii shadow boxing game called Gold's Gym Cardio Workout.

I have tried and really liked them. They can help you lose weight and tone but you also have to use it to your advantage. You have to change your eating. I also recommend to maximize the machine set up a work out routine. Use the machine for calves stretches, lunges, push ups and so on.

I know how you feel. Everyone keeps telling me it is not healthy to lose more then 2lbs (0.91 kelos I think) in a week.
