If I understand that the number 19,250 is the number of calories a week you burn threw work outs. Then add that number to 5250 which is the number you deflect threw eating your total deflect of the week is 24500. So 24500 divided by 3500 is 7lbs loss. At least that is my understand of the numbers you are posting but I…

I should also say there is debates on here if you should eat back your work out calories. If you included your work outs into your BMI number then you should not be eating your work out calories anyways. But there are people who feel that if you did not include your BMI number then you should eat your work out calories…

Well if you have a daily deflect of 750 then times that by 7 and you get a weekly deflect of 5250. Divide 5250 by 3500 and you get 1.5lbs a week loss. Or you could look at it this way. 3500 X's 2 is 7000 calorie deflect need to lose 2lbs. 7000 subtract the 5250 you lose threw your eating per week leves 1750 calorie deflect…

Well 3500 calories is 1lbs. So you need a deflect for 3500calories to burn off 1lbs. But you also need to remember other factors like too much sodium can cause you to retain water weight.

It probably comes down to the current quote on my profile "Success Is A Journey, Not A Destination. Focus On The Process." and and all time favorite quote by Jillian Micheals "When friends tell you how awesome you look, drop the "I still have more to go" crap. You worked hard and you deserve the compliment!" I think you…

The same thing has been happening to my friend and I. Our calories on track but we are still not always losing. It might be your body getting use to a workout program, you might have been over on your sodium or sugar and not have realized it or your body retaining more water then other weeks. I know a lot of people say…

Oh I also suggest you start to experiment with what freezes well. If I have a bit of left overs from a meal that I know is only going to go to waste I throw a spoonful in a freezer bag to try it later. That way you do not freeze a bunch of food you will only end up throwing out because you do not like the taste after it…

Well I do up lasagna, meat sauce, sloppy joe and hamburger mixture, pancakes, meat loaf and much more. I do them all in one serving size containers that I already know the calorie count for. I also sometimes like to just cook scrambled hamburger or chicken and measure it out so later if I want to add it into a meal it is…

Well I get this idea in my head "whats the point I will never lose it" so then I feel like I might as well eat what I want.

I have read over some of the Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution book but I do not understand it. I do not understand how long the phase last for and what you eat during them. Like do you only eat one type of food one week and then another type the next. Is there something I can eat lots of one day but not the next. Or is there…

Oh I forgot to mentioned one site said to start with 40% and work your way down

Add me to the list. Dam our PCOS. I have read all different numbers to as low as 20%. I have no idea though what number the carbs should be or how high to boost the protein. I am a carb addicted so I just started about two days ago to slowly move down my carb number. If any anyone has some suggestions or idea it would be…

I have PCOS as well. I also lost a few pounds in the first few weeks and now having problems. For my research you need to switch your carb types from processed whites to whole grains. I have also been trying to go with Low GI foods. Anyways I have not tried Atkins and not really sure how to do it. I don't think I could…

Well I dunno what they are like but I watched on the news this morning about lawsuits against the makers of Sketchers shape ups. There has been complaints that they are bad for you. One women is complaining it is the reason she has stress fractures in both hips because of them.

See this what makes changing your life style so hard. Some people say you must eat x amount or you are going to go into starvation mode and others say no. I know people talked about the Eat Stop Eat Diet and it is based around the concept of fasting. So has anyone tried it?
-
This looks so good. I must try it out later.
-
Thanks for the suggestions. I will have to look up the yellow and yogurt ideas

I don't think you are suppose to take into account your work outs. I think some people are double counting exercise calories bcause they included there and then add it into their daily exercise goals.
-
I have PCOS as well. I know exactly how you feel. I feel like I am busting my butt off for little results. I switched to whole wheat and to the best that I can low GI foods but not much of an improvement yet.

It is better for you then a Big Mac meal at McDonalds but it still is not better then a meal you could make at home. It depends on what you buy. Remember they are processed meats full of salt. Some of the sauces can be pretty bad for you as well. So it can be a good option for you when eating out however do not get fooled…

http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/detail/view/name/cable-rope-overhead-triceps-extension I do this but with hand weights instead of the pulley system he is using. You can do one arm at a time or both together.

I have that type of meal every now and then but I switched the type that I buy. I only use the liquid egg yoke and picked up healthier low fat bacon. I know only eat one or two strips of bacon instead of 5 or 6.

I believe it helps you to gain muscle and muscle is heaver then fat so it can look like you gained. As far as I know your dad is right.

I love to just fry up the chicken up in the salsa. Then have some potatoes with it or put it in a wrap.
-
I do but I have cut back on how much of it I drink. I read some where it can trick your body into thinking it is getting sugar. Unsure of how true that statements is.

Good luck with metformin because I could not get over the side effects.
