The post by try2again is spot on. Also...you're a teenage girl...not making any assumptions, but you can hold a lot of weight during your period. Plus, with the change of workout your body can hold weight due to the added stress or because it is in the process of adding muscle. Those are just the tip of the iceberg with…

Almost daily, first thing in the morning. But part of that is accepting that it will certainly go both up and down and that I have to accept it and just watch for the overall trend. I track in MFP every time I weigh. I geek out on numbers, and as others have mentioned it is fantastic watching it move in relation to how…

I do jiu jitsu 3 days a week. When I started keto and was still getting adapted I would gas out easily. Just get completely exhausted. Now that never happens. My energy level is...I wouldn't say it is higher than when I'm eating more carbs...it's more like I have unlimited reserves. I can just keep going.

Philip Male - 38 Texas I lost 50lbs on keto last year through September. Then put back on 15lbs when I decided to take the holidays off. Now I'm back on keto and looking forward to another great year. Not on reddit, but feel free to add me here.

Lifting won't make you bulky. Even heavy lifting won't make you bulky. The only way you'll get bulky is if you put a ton of effort into purposely gaining muscle mass. Check this girl out...she lifts crazy, and isn't at all bulky. http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2011/07/21/meet-staci-your-new-powerlifting-super-hero/

Leonidas has it right. Keep calm. Relax. Don't stress. I eat the greater number of calories on the day that I work out. But I don't force feed myself. I've also been doing this for 6 months now, so I'm better at recognizing what my body needs and will need. Yesterday I did Jiu Jitsu for 90 minutes. According to MFP that…

I've had the same issue at times and it all comes back to my intake on workout days. Per the Keto Calculator on r/Keto my BMR is 1527 and my TDEE is 2099. My daily goal on MFP is set at 1400. I usually make that, or go slightly over. But since that is a 35% deficit (which is probably too large to be honest) I don't have to…

BookishOwl made some excellent points, definitely respond with macros and read the r/Keto FAQ page. I started with 44 pounds to lose just to get to a BMI that would qualify me as a normal weight. *I know BMI is a poor measure overall - but it should give some idea of how much I had to lose* I ran through all 3 stages that…

Heck yes! I've lost 40lbs as of today and it feels fantastic! But I think so much of it has to do with where you are mentally when you start this journey. I started losing because I was at my heaviest ever and nothing I owned fit anymore. So I refused to buy new clothes and started a new way of eating instead. I expected…

Develop the will, get your mind straight, and the rest will follow. Seems like you already have that for the most part. Change your statements to "I WILL lose weight. I WILL eat clean and healthy. I WILL get my body into a healthy state." A very small change in language but such a huge change in mindset. As for me, I used…

No one else has mentioned this yet...but measure yourself, neck, waist and such. If you are working out as hard as you have listed, you have a lot more than just fat loss going on with your body. When I started, I lost heavily the first few weeks, then started Jiu Jitsu and stalled for almost a month. I was at my wits end…

This! I'm down 30 pounds since January eating 65% to 70% fat daily. The group consensus here is spot on: If you eat more calories than you burn, then it doesn't matter if it was protein, carbs, or fat...the extra calories will be stored as fat. Your body uses different processes to modify all three into forms of useful…

I've been on LCHF for two months now and have lost 20lbs. It'd be good to have others to follow and see food diarys and generally have some support. I track my food and weight 5 or 6 days a week. (I'm slack on the weekends) Feel free to add me.
