LMAO. I know exactly what you're saying but it seems like the higher the number associated with my age the more likely I am to take the time to see a doc. Those things that I ignored in my youth have managed to return and haunt me for years. I don't have months of recovery time anymore...

Agree with those that said there are mixed results from foot strike between heel and toe. Ran for 24 years while in the Army and was always a heel striker. You may want to have your heel looked at for a bone spur or something of the like. A couple of years ago I started putting gel pads in the heels of my shoes to help…

Just started 30 day shred by Jillian over again last week. Took a break and was doing the shed and shred but needed a break from that one too. Repitition gets boring sometimes. Best two I've done lately.

I will say two things. I agree with those that said ensure that your "free" day is also a workout day to lessen the impact. The other thing that I'll say is this. We (wife and I) have one reward day per week when we eat what we want. Granted we've only been doing this calorie counter thing for a couple of weeks but have…

Have 30 day shread at home, bought it at Target, it has all the warnings. Not sure where you bought yours but if it's a reproduction they may not have copied all of it.

I vote for nanny state. If you're too busy to read the warnings or ignore them…

Strongly agree with the videos at home. My wife and I have done the 30 day shred and are now doing the Extreme Shed and Shred by Jillian Michaels as well. Would suggest (if you can afford it), pick up a couple of different videos that way when you get bored or you stop seeing results you can change it up. It's working for…

Every training program requires a "rest" day which is designed around recovery. Began working a 3/1 and it seems to actually have the additional benefit of reminding me how beneficial my workouts are. Three days on and 1 day off allows a recovery period and on days I'm struggling to work out gives me something to look…

Would suggest start out simply with curls incorporated into an overall weight training regimen. It is challenging to focus on a single muscle group through targeted lifting since they are interconnected. For example, if you're working biceps, you should also be working triceps (front and back). If you're working chest, you…
