Yes it has worked for me. I wasn't ever eating that low but I raised my cals from 1700 to 2200 and lost 3lbs. over a period of weeks where as I had been in a plateau for months before that.

Using this. https://www.myrebody.com/weightlosscalculator I was quite suprised at how high the number was for me due to the amount of muscle mass I have. I thought I'd have to weigh 10lbs less.
