Congrats on your time! That is great. I just got a jogging stroller and have started running with it. It's painfully slow, but you're my motivation that it will make me faster eventually. Good luck with your marathon training. I'm finally able to run on a more regular schedule, but I concerned about injuries due to a very…

My LO is too small for my jogging stroller (I don't have carseat attachment), so I try to work out a schedule with my husband where he watches her so I can run in the evenings or weekends. I only work part-time, so I can work out some days at home. Now that she's on a regular napping schedule, I also have had good luck…

I have a 5 mo old and am starting to get back into running too. My training hasn't been very intense because I've been really irregular with sleep issues, baby/family getting colds, etc. So I can't really answer the milk supply/calorie intake/training intensity question. I have some suggestions regarding sports bras, but…

RBXChas - glad your furniture finally came in & in one piece! What a frustrating experience, so glad you were able to get them to remedy it this weekend. Sounds like you got a great deal on a breast pump! I wish my insurance would work like yours to reimburse me for one I buy. My insurance requires me to buy one through an…

I would agree with some of the previous suggestions to eat food that is higher in fiber as well as protein - both of these help me to stay full. I eat a lot of eggs and oatmeal (for any meal). Oatmeal is much tastier if you put cooked fruit in it, so that might work well for your allergies. I eat eggs in lots of different…

I agree this one is up to genetics. I am at 31 weeks and don't have any from pregnancy yet, but have lots from puberty. They do eventually fade and aren't really noticeable. I don't know anything about Mederma stretch mark cream but Mayo Clinic (a good resource for pregnancy related health info) says you can treat stretch…

Hello! I am new to MFP and am also due in May, so I'm looking forward to getting to know you all. I'm at 30 weeks with my first, a girl. BananaCat83 - I am not big into yoga and do it mostly to keep some flexibility/cross train from running. I have a few non-prenatal yoga DVDs that I like, but you may want to check out…

This is my first and I'm planning on having only my DH there during L&D (along with midwife + nurses at hospital). He is the only person that I think will be helpful and help me manage the pain. I would like to go unmedicated and from what I've been told/read, I feel like I'll need to concentrate and don't want lots of…

I do batch cooking a lot too. I have found that many recipes that I like from online recipe sites like allrecipes, myrecipes, & foodnetwork have nutritional values posted on the recipe with serving size. A big bonus is that tons of these recipes have already been entered into MFP, so I don't always have to manually enter…

I am so glad I found this thread! I just joined MFP for this exact reason. Like many of you, I worked really hard to loose weight before being pregnant and although I am only at 30 weeks, I have already gained more weight than the recommended weight gain range. I'm hoping this site will help me focus on being healthy -…

I'm really struggling with my weight gain. I've already gained 39lb and I'm at 30 weeks. I was running regularly, but have recently had to stop. I'm trying to find other exercises to stay active and just joined MFP and this group as motivation to eat more nutritious food and stay within a target calorie range. It's been…
