Are they offended because you aren't eating the same thing as you are? Maybe if you tried cooking a healthy meal or two for the family each week would they eat it? Or just turn their noses up at the healthy meal?

I have heard a bit about the fitbit and jawbone things. Would these work or are they more for everyday movement rather than working out?

Is it really that bad to not eat back calories burned? I generally eat 1400-1500 calories a day, but am not good at keeping track of my exercise. Is it that important to eat more on the days when u have an intense workout?
