My breakfast this morning was exactly 200 calories and it's one I can make quickly and eat on the way to work if I am running late. 1 Nature's Own 100% whole wheat thinly sliced bagel 2 TBSP Philadelphia fat free cream cheese 1/4 cup egg beaters I toast the bagel, put half the cream cheese on each half, put the egg in the…

Maybe when you feel that hungry just go for a walk around the block... or do a short exercise session to see if you feel better later.. and if not you have burnt a few calories you can then feel more free to eat. Also, do an emotional assessment of your day.. or journal your emotions and hunger for a month... you might…

I want to lose somewhere between 135 and 150 total.... current loss is 28.8 so I am on my way.... I am doing Zumba twice a week, Treadmill on incline twice a week, kettlebells and/or weights 1 day a week.

I don't think you have to have due dates... due dates add a lot of pressure.... I have several non-scale goals and I have not given myself a due date.. rather I have given myself a reward to look forward to when I hit them ... a sugar free cherry limeade (20 calories) from Sonic.... I know I could have it now, but I used…

I see you joined a while back so I think the first step would be to make logging your food and exercise a mandatory part of your day. When I get up in the mornings the first thing I do is check my email and facebook. So I have a bookmark for MFP and I enter everything I know I am going to be eating that day so I have an…

What about a parfait of a couple flavors of sugar free/fat free pudding, and get the fat free cool whip and a drop or two of food coloring to make it pink and do a layered dessert in a wine glass or other cute serving dish where they can see the layers?

I think we are each responsible for what we choose to put into our body. I know I am... and I have taken full responsibility for my weight issue... but blaming someone else just gives people an excuse to stay overweight because it's not their fault. As far as serving sizes go... sadly it's a sign of how our country is…

I found the treadmill boring at first too... so I got a book with fairly large print and got into reading it and used it to cover up the timer so I couldn't just sit and look at how long I was on there... then finally we moved ours in front of our TV in the living room. Sure, it might look out of place, but I went to the…

I am also confused by this. My doctor suggests keeping calories the same and the more exercise the more you lose and has never told me to eat more if I exercise more. Weight watcher's "allows" you to eat more if you exercise more but only up to a certain amount and also tells you that you don't have to do it. Top this off…

Good luck!!! I quit soda on June 24, 2010. Before that I would drink about 2 of the 2 liter bottles a day. It was rough the first couple weeks. (especially headaches but excedrin really helped relieve them) Then it was easier and easier although a few months ago every time I got stressed I would want a soda really bad...…

yes, you can replace ground beef with ground turkey. The flavor is a little different. When I use the ground turkey I put spices, onion, and jalepeno in it to help the flavor some without adding a lot of calories to it. I don't think I would just eat a turkey burger, but in chili, spaghetti, etc should be just fine. Keep a…

Good luck to those of you on the hCG diet!!! I didn't personally feel that I could commit to the eating plan involved otherwise I would have gone that route myself. I actually work for a homeopathic lab and we do quite a LOT of hCG every week. And the enormous quantities made and sold every week tells me that it's working…
