  • I wish I could do yoga - currently I am just not flexible enough - I am getting there! I can't wait. I have never tried Zumba, it's all the rage now. Been to the gym 3X this week already for 75 minutes each day or longer!

  • Hello everyone! So happy to be a part of such an amazing group! This week has been tough...during my exercise walk with my hubby on Tuesday I passed out and had excruciating chest pain. He ended up calling an ambulance and I had an ER visit... Good thing my cardiac workup was GREAT!!! I have been putting the pedal to the…
  • I went ahead and added my info to the spreadsheet. Since I weigh on Mondays it all lined up! Which was cool - so even though I didn't start this group until after - I figured my numbers should count as a total - since I have been working hard :) I had an hour of PT this am and then came home and did a Biggest Loser workout…
  • The scale disappointed me today as well. I first got frustrated and then thought of all the positive changes I had made, I realized that it didn't totally matter what the scale said. I was eating healthy, exercising and drinking water. Clothes are looser, and I am not so depressed... Eventually the scale will catch up - if…
  • Agreed. I wrote a post on my blog today "No Scale Needed"! We fixate on that number and forget other things. It's important that we learn to focus on ourselves as a whole - not a number reflected on the scale. How much exercise you did, how many and what kind of calories we eat, how our clothes are fitting, etc. We forget…
  • This is so true - I am just learning this myself. In fact I wrote it in my blog earlier today! I have always had 3 goals for loosing weight/becoming healthy. 1. Healthy Calories and limited. 2. Drink plenty of water 3. Exercise daily But like you I have added a 4th. 4. Change your thought pattern. I honestly believe this…

  • I don't know where you live but we have a Beall's Outlet, I love it - they have lots of options, with brand names for cheaper than anywhere else. They carry brands that WalMart doesn't sometimes at thrift store prices. I have even at times bought a name brand piece of clothing for $2-3! In fact since both my hubby and I…
  • Count me in?!!! I need all the help with motivation I can get, on the other hand I am a huge motivator... let me know what I need to do. I weigh in on Mondays.
