  • Dayquil for strep? Nononononono I have had strep so many times that they started hauling me to the doc to have my throat swabbed every time I had a sore throat. No idea why I kept getting it. Anyway, dayquil is not the thing for strep. chloroseptic and sucrets are the way to go. You need a numbing agent coating the whole…
  • I puree and freeze the stuff in ice cube trays (I bag the cubes) 4 cubes pureed strawberry 2 cubes (a little more than a cup of spinach) spinach puree 1 banana 1 cube of pear puree. 1 pack of light and fit blueberry greek yogurt 1 cup water.
  • Nope. My body reacts badly to a lot of "healthy" foods though. The only junk foods that make me sick have always tasted nasty to me anyway. Lets see, things that make me sick,,,, pork rinds, lettuce, ham, flavored chips, broccoli, beans of any kind, sushi, fish of any kind, shelled creatures (like lobster), ranch flavor…
  • Well I tend to have to wait 5 or 6 days to lose a pound whether its a 0 number or not. Also, it might help if you got a scale that is .1 or .2 type. I use this kind and it really helps with the mental aspect of losing weight. For instance, say a couple weeks ago when I was 175lbs, I was actually 175.6lbs. That .6lbs takes…
  • I tend to look at other peoples carts. I walk around the store. I get my expensive healthy food (I was paying 1/10 as much for the junk I was eating before). I get to checkout mildly pissed off due to my frugal nature screaming at me that *insert high fat high sugar food* is on sale for 3 for a dollar with no limit. It…
  • Well, a lot of people say healthy food is not expensive. This annoys me to no end. I used to spend 60 bucks on an OVERFLOWING shopping cart. 60 bucks for 40lbs of pasta, 10 jars of pasta sauce, 5 boxes of high sugar cereal, 5lbs of high fat ground beef, 3 bags of frozen fried chicken (tyson chicken strips), 2 gallons of…
  • Skim, because it tastes better to me. Unless im mixing it with something else like tea, then 1% tastes good

  • Well. I was 36C, and now im a 34DD but I know it wont last long. At some point I will be a 34C. I will greatly miss them. It is likely to be a very hard journey. I know I was upset when I hit 36C, so I know that when im down to 34C I will be extra upset. If I keep losing weight I will eventually be flat as a pancake. This…
  • I have had tofu shirataki noodles before. As far as I am concerned, they are only edible in stir frys. In anything else I cannot get past the squidgy texture. They are NOT a substitute for pasta.
  • Um. I cannot remember. Its got a squarish bottle and a fancy looking sort of logo. Sorry im not brand loyal so basically I just read the back of every alfredo bottle in the store and get the lowest cal kind. It does taste like crap, until you melt in the laughing cow wedge. Oh yeah, and it needs pepper too. Um the cheese…
  • I had an ab zapping belt once. They only work if you have no fat on you. I got a 6 pack from using it (no other exercise other than using the tv remote). I had so little fat that if I was laying down you could count my ribs. If you have fat on you beyond what I just described, it wont show results.
  • Take some fruit Chuck it in the blender Puree it Make popsicles out of the puree.
  • 2 ounces of rigatoni, 1 wedge of laughing cow cheese, 1/4 cup light alfredo sauce from a jar. Pasta 210 calories Cheese 35 calories Alfredo 50 calories 295 calories for a huge plate. Melt the cheese into the sauce It only works with rigatoni. Rigatoni has a lot of air in it, and therefore looks bigger on the plate. You eat…
  • Puree the whole thing. Pour into ice cube trays. Freeze them. Remove cubes from tray and bag. When you want a smoothie, simply grab as many cubes as you want. This works for fresh as well. This also works for fruits that do not normally freeze well.
  • I lose just about the same amount every week, until I get my period. Im on bc pills that make it so that I do not get it every month though. So im pretty sure its your cycle messing with your numbers
  • Dear 16 year old me, Dont freak out, you are just a late bloomer. You will not be flat chested forever. At 18 you will finally have the changes to your body normal girls got at 15. Pretty soon your depression will go away and food will taste good to you. Watch it because that size zero body you have now will balloon up to…
  • I do not have much of a weakness for candy, but salty fried things are especially hard for me to say no to. People tend to want to share experiences. When they bite into an amazing piece of fried chicken, its only natural to want others to understand the amazing feeling that they are experiencing. Anyway, usually I can say…
  • OATS! I never thought of oats in it. I bet that would make them even more filling. Plus I LOVE oats.
  • Also if you are looking for a way to cheat, you can puree spinach (with a few tablespoons of water) ahead of time, pour the baby food like substance (technically it really is home made baby food) into an ice tray and freeze and then place in air tight bags or containers. This way you can buy in season and have the greens…
  • I drank my very first green smoothie today. I am a vegetable gardener but I hate veggies, so I was looking for a way to eat them without gagging. I made a smoothie the size of my head today with about 340 calories in it. It would have been like a hundred less if I used some other liquid than milk. 1 cup milk 2 really giant…
  • As hard as exercise is with all my chronic pain problems, and messed up lung function, eating "healthy" is harder. I am a supertaster, and most vegetables and fruits upset my tummy. So first the food tastes either waaaay too sour, or bitter like poison. Then I get a bad tummy ache an hour later. Then that leads to TMI…
  • Fatty pork steaks. Bacon Beef Deep fried anything Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • Pointing out the obvious is sometimes necessary. I honestly didnt really know I had gotten fat until people started pointing it out. I still saw that same 110lb girl in the mirror.
  • My leather jacket from high school. My holyclothing dresses from high school. My old jean jacket that I wore from 7th grade until my freshman year of college when I gained weight. My old liz Claiborne dress. Some really old size 8 pants. Actually the only things im not looking forward to fitting into are my high school…
  • I bought pants in size 16 before I started my diet. They fit perfectly. A week later I needed a belt. 3 weeks later, if I do not wear a belt, they will drop to my ankles while im walking. So, I would say I dropped at least a pants size in like 6lbs time. But I seem to be mainly losing weight in my hips and thighs. A little…
  • Is it over yet? Omg my muscles hurt! Ewww people actually eat that? (I seem to always show up at the gym when diners drive ins and dives is on the little tvs in front of the treadmill.. well you have a choice between that and the financial news)
  • Well, I try to eat 6 small mini meals a day, but with my new job, its a little hard to do so I settle for three 400 cal meals and some snacks. Really I eat what I want as long as its under 400 calories. There are a lot of frozen dinners in there too, mainly because I cannot cook at work.
  • I wanna fit back into my jean coat. I wore it from 7th grade until my first year of college. I was 145 the last time I could wear it without popping the zipper. I also have a few holyclothing dresses that I wanna fit back into. Actually, lets just say that I wanna fit into all my old clothes and leave it at that. Well, all…
