By in between I mean I do 15 minutes cardio, then I lift, then 12-15 minutes of another type of cardio.

I'm literally years late on this but I saw you said 1-2% a month is realistic. I'm 5 feet, 32.5% (down from 34% in February) and I do cardio 30 minutes 6 days a week with strength training in between as well. I eat at a rather large deficit, about 1000 once I've worked out.
