Agreed! It sounds like it took a lot of hard work to get there!

Not a real "problem", but more of a mystery...so, about 2 years ago, I bought this printed t-shirt-type top from kohls. At that time, it fit me well. 70lbs lost and 2 years later, it's *shorter*...not related to washing. HOW DOES THAT EVEN HAPPEN? Maybe I'm walking with a better posture now? Is my waist dropping?! It's a…

i've done safety pinning and stitches...but now it's getting ridiculous!

I like to do 10 minutes of cardio before I lift to warm up, but when I'm on my last 2 minutes, I start scanning the gym to determine if the equipment I want to use is free. I also go with a set "schedule" of exercises I want to do, and a plan b for if those machines or equipment are in use. Also, my cardio hack is a…

I appreciate the comments. I think that the idea of losing weight is really not the end-all is a good thing for me to keep in mind. This sounds bizarre, but it only recently occurred to me that I have no idea what I'm going to do after I reach my target. I think it's because it seems sooooo far away, and I wasn't focusing…

I prefer to make my own drinks at home, so when I do....my favorites are: Jim Beam and Diet Dr. Pepper Devil's Cut and Diet Dr. Pepper or Diet Coke RC and Crown Royal (can you get RC cola in a bar? I don't exactly frequent them) Cuba Libre The older I've gotten, the more I grown to appreciate dark liquors. I don't drink…

This, or why can't they just keep their mouths shut?

I, like you, can't afford to buy clothes every few pounds. Honestly, I just pin or sew stuff to not fall off my body. At least for now.

Be patient with yourself. It can be a long process.

And then other people get like REALLY defensive and argumentative about what I'm doing. It's like, "Wooooah, there, cowboy, what just happened here?"

I just started hearing this. According to MFP, I'm down about 61lbs, but I am really down closer to 68lbs from when I started in January 2013. One of my coworkers was like "You don't need to lose anymore! You'll waste away!" I'm still about 25-40ish lbs away from my goal weight (I started at 262 and am now hovering between…

I know. It's so frustrating, so now I just use the website on my phone's browser. Still, it was so handy to have the barcode scan feature.

The end where I have successfully talked myself out of giving up earlier! :) Especially on the elliptical.

Depending on how many bites I have, I'll delete that amount from whatever my serving is, so if I'm having a cup of rice and I had two teaspoons to taste it (to make sure it was cooked all the way through), I'll deduct from my plate. Cleaning up, for me, seems to be hardest...so I'll just estimate and like not eat a full…

ok, so i'm noticing the trend of people on this thread who are starting the 1200 but are feeling very hungry and are struggling...to those people, i want to share my story. last march, i started off with 1200 calories. and it was awful. i saw very little gains. i felt very frustrated. i thought about cutting back even…

Congrats! To me, that's a huge nsv! My shared NSV: My boyfriend and I were able to stand in the doorway of my bathroom together without our bellies rubbing together! :D Also, we can fit better in our bed (including a dog and 4 cats).
