  • Well you just started after 6 months so maybe your body needs to adjust to exercising again. Maybe you started of too hard and maybe you should take it easy for the first few weeks. How long do you exercise and how often?
  • Just do it. Google the exercises you do now, so you can see how you can do them with free weights. Or find a good schedule to do them and google them to see how to do them. Im starting New rules of lifting for women on monday and the book has schedules and each exercise is demonstrated.
  • You and me both! Think about those prone jackknives for starters I don't really want to do those in the gym! I really really suck at pushups, even the girly ones. So im terrified of doing those in the gym too. Monday im starting nrolfw but first at home. I wanna try it first and then move it to the gym.
  • Somebody posted this list. You wont need everything right away, but to complete all 7 stages at home this is what it takes. * Olympic barbell: 7ft. long bar weighing 45lbs. * Full set of barbell plates, including 2.5lb. plates * Full set of dumbbells, ideally in 2-3 lb. increments * Squat Rack (I'm not kidding, you'll need…

  • Hai, Great loss already so congrats on that. Are you under the care of a physician? Im no expert but i dont really think dieting is the way to go, they work at first but as soon as you slip once all the weight comes back with a vengeance. I feel the best way is to change your lifestyle if you want to loose weight and stay…
  • The answer will be different everytime, because one says low carbs is better and another will say low cal is better for different reasons. Both have pros and cons. I say do what feels better. I feel the best thing is eat healthy, don't focus too much on cals or carbs. Eat 3 big meals and 3 small ones to keep your…
  • I think there's only thing you can do, and your already doing it. Don't give up on him, but don't let him hold you back either. Keep showing him your progress, maybe that will motivate him when he's ready. Keep buying healthy food, keep cooking healthy. That's about all you can do, he has to do this on his own. Nobody can…

  • He has some soulsearching to do.What does he really want? If it's just the hanging out maybe you'll could get together once a week or so. If it's more than that he should asked himself if he really wants to give up his family to hang out with friends. And your involvement, you can give him advice or just stand by him as a…
  • I'm Angel (that's my nick, I don't use my real name), 38 yrs old, mother of 4 and married. Since my 3rd pregnancy I've gained a lot of weight. I weigh about 187 lbs (85.8kg) and my goal is 143lbs (65kg) I don't really have a timelimit when I want to reach my goal. I just want to reach it and stay there. My exercise goal is…
  • I agree when you use it as an excuse, but for some women exercising while they have their period can be aweful. My period started yesterday and I did my daily exercise but today im just not up to it. My stomach hurts like hell, I can hardly walk.
  • 1. Are you happy with who you are? I am happy with who I am just not with the way I look right now. 2. Are you happy with your daily choices? I am now, I exercise daily and watch what I eat. 3. Are you the happiest you could be? No but im going to be. 4. If not, what would make you the happiest you could be? Losing weight,…

  • Hi welcome i have the same problem but as you get going you learn. Im getting closer and closer to eat that many calories. But if i dont, i dont worry about it too much. Im more focused on eating ,because i used to eat like 2 times a day and snack a lot or just eat unhealthy. And on exercising at least 4 times a week.

  • A 50 min Cardio training 2 or 3 times a week and I do a Kettlebell workout for 20-30 min at home twice a week. As soon as my stamina improves I want to start Insanity.
  • If I'm going to the gym I always shower before and after. If I'm excersising at home like today, I only shower after.
