  • XCOM's a great game! I've shelled out for a PC controller and went back to playing Spelunky for a while - soooo much eaiser with a game pad! I've tried mapping the buttons to play Mount & Blade too, it's a fair bit harder with a controller but it sort of feels like I'm playing a PS2 game (it looks like it at least).
  • My goal's 18lb, managed 10 out that so far - I'll send you a request!
  • My least favorite body part has to be eyes, they taste just awful.
  • I have to seperate my exercise and gaming time, I go to the gym before work three times a week and I usually only play video games at night. My game time has dramtically decreased recently, although this is largely due to having two very young children and no sleep, so whereas I would previously sink hours into an RPG or…
  • I've never heard of the last two but The Cat Lady sounds intriging... What type of game is Cook, Serve, Delicious?

  • Should totally start a dad's group - I have a 25 month old and a newborn (3 weeks) so I'd be on board for that!
  • I've resisted buying it for a while as I knew it was still in Alpha, but when I saw it was on the cheap I went for it - like you said the tutorial mission was even a little thought provoking regarding the death penalty, very adult and dark considering that the games graphics gives everything a cartoon edge. Has anyone…
  • Thanks again, I'll be sure to start light when I begin to try this, like I said above once I'm in a routine of going to the gym (as it's still early days) I'll start for reals on something like this. 160-170g a day, what's the best way to hit this? Seriously, I'm struggling to cap 100g within my calorie goal and I'm…
  • Thanks, with two kids at home it's literally the only time I can get to the gym! I've been advised to aim at getting away from the machines and onto free weights before and once I'm into a routine of going to the gym I'll begin to change the machine sets to free weighted ones. I'll stick to doing it circuit training style…
  • I've heard good things about To The Moon, is it considered as an "arty" game as well as indie? I might give that a shot as well. Other ones that have just sprung to mind are Nuclear Throne (another rogue-like), Gods Will Be Watching and Luftrausers. So many games!
  • Thanks Cajuntank for the advice, I've just checked out StrongLifts and that seems like something I can get into in the near future - I checked out the Ice Cream Fitness one as well but I wouldn't have the time before work to do an entire routine, so I think StrongLifts is a better fit. Stat wise, MFP has been aiming for…
  • Yeah, they're pretty similar, how's your's working out for you? I do want to do more running as it'll probably help me with some of the sports I play, so perhaps I might copy your routine more and ditch some of the machines for more treadmill time.
  • I got Spelunky through a Humble Bundle, I'm always on the site checking to see what's available next! I recently picked up Prison Architect on sale at Steam - it's an early access game so it's totally not finished but I've wanted to try it for ages now. The Stanely Parable looks realy, really interesting so I wanna get on…
  • I had a Gameboy Pocket and used to play the hell out of International Track & Field, Dr Mario and Pokemon Red. I really don't think I've put more hours into any other game than Pokemon, I literally caught 'em all (with the help of friends and my younger brother that I coerced/bullied into giving me all his pokemon). Since…
  • Feel free to add me, I play pretty much whatever Steam puts a discount on!
  • Bulletstorm is similar to both Borderlands and COD, plus it's been out a while so you can pick up a copy really cheap! There's loads of games similar to GTA, as they can't compete they've all got their own twists on the sandbox gameplay; Saints Row IV for example plays like GTA but in a more cartoony way (you can jump over…
  • PSN ID - Meat_Envelope Xbox - Muckfoot Steam - Sir_Moosecannon
  • In a simialr vein I imagine that the future will provide some kind of robot or magical animal that will count calories for us, so I will probably continue to count my own calories until that time.
