If you get Polar...KEEP YOUR RECEIPT! they often do not work and Polar refuses to fix or replace without the receipt. Make sure if you get one as a gift you ask the giver to keep receipt as well. As a company - Polar customer service SUCKS! But the monitors are good if you happen to get one that works right.

I did C25K after I already was a runner in order to get my older chubby boxer running too. So I can tell you my favorite way was how I did it...I just would run on my walks. A little more all the time! Run as much as I could (I was 280 pounds when I started...so it wasn't very far then...) but I enjoyed it. And the pure…

I am still obese, but I started at 51 and am down to 34...so close! I cannot wait to be "overweight!"

I just make sure I use the same spot to weigh in.

Simply stop eating it. After 30 days you will notice it is easier and easier not to have.

I have lost over 100 lbs and still going strong, if a little bit slower due to injury and subsequent surgery. I am 45. There are a lot of things stacked against me, including some metabolic health conditions, and yet, I just keep on going. I don't listen to what others say isn't possible. I KNOW that if you work for it,…

I did low carb last week just to support a friend who wanted to try it. I learned that I NEED fruit! I can live without bread though but I like the low carb tortillas. I have other nutritional needs to look at and I just can't do it low carb. That said, I lost an inch (yes an INCH) off my waist in 6 days of not being…

Polar HRM, running shoes I was fitted for, sport socks to prevent blisters, a head light and blinker light so that I look like a cruise ship when I run very early in the morning...easy to spot in the dark by sleepy or still drunk drivers at 4am. Oh, and an Ipod, good headphones (I downloaded great high energy music to it),…

Yep! I started out 323 in July 2011. I am now 217 and plugging along. I love it! I love my community of friends. I have made some amazing new friendships here, and have a ball! A year seemed like a long time when i started, and now, I look forward to another year! Even if I hit my goal, I am not going anywhere. These folks…

I have3 heard of map my run. I havent used it yet because I cant run again until I recover from surgery, but check it out. It was free!

Great job! It's my goal, to hit it in 2012. I love seeing when other people do it. And hey! Good job on the running too!

LOL! YES...Baby wipes! I can't stand dirty hands. After I haul a poop bag around for a mile or so until there is an available trash can, even though I never touched it, I feel gross. So that way, I can have a quick hand wash. Baby wipes are good to clean minor abrasions for you or your dog as well.

Poop bags and baby wipes.

I naturally fall asleep at 9pm and get up at 4:30 ish...so I cant tell you how to do it. But I can say I LOVE to run and watch the sunrise. Or even run the whole time in the dark in winter. I love the peace and quiet of the morning. So set an alarm and enjoy the mornings!

Oil of Olay eye roller. Instantly removes puffy under eye issues in the morning. Love the stuff.

I second that! I hit 100 lost this week and its the same for me. Eat (as right as I can) and exercise. No pills, not surgery, not craziness. Well...except for my MFP addiction. I LOVE this place!
