Hi! I am 46 and have had PCOS since my teens, and have never been able to have kids. I didn't start having periods until I was 37. I battle a crazy sugar addiction, hair growth everywhere but on top of my head where I want it. In fact, I fight for every strand of head hair I have... Sometimes that for me is the worst part.…

I don't like it in replacement of spaghetti noodles. However, I DO like it tossed with a little olive oil, salt and pepper and served as a side dish. I cook mine whole in the microwave about 10 minutes, cut it open, take out the seeds. Then "fork" the squash into spaghetti and dress as above, It's delicious!

Fiber One is a good source if you don't mind artificial sweeteners. All Bran is without artificial sweeteners. I actually mix All Bran Buds (they are a lot like grape nuts but huge fiber) into Greek yogurt for breakfast most days. It adds crunch to the yogurt that I really like.

I am already your friend but I am so glad that you made the move. It might feel like a setback today, but this really is a step forward, a step towards the woman you want to be and the life you deserve. I am so proud of you!

I have the fitbit that clips on (not the new bracelet) but its small and tracks sleep. I love it. I clip it on my bra and it is completely invisible. The sleep tracking is great. It does not measure workouts accurately - but that's ok because I wear my HRM for workouts. Spend the extra to monitor the sleep. Really.

There is a cardio move in it that Jillian even says is great for people who have lower body problems. You do a squat and punches. That will get your heart rate up great, and gives you a nice muscle burn too. Do the squat however you are able. But the punches are perfect for you I think.

Two bras. Two. One to smash them down and hold them super tight, and one over the top to press it down even more. You will be so glad you did! Try them on. I have cheap, I have expensive, I find some of the cheap ones are best for the bottom smash them down layer. LOL!

I have a gorgeous party dress for a Christmas party or other winter event since it is long sleeved and black. Its a size large, but its tight knit type of dress so I will need to be a lot smaller and toned. I can't wait to wear it! The beading on it is gorgeous, and it is my new goal for next Christmas.

I have always been an administrative assistant type person. In my childhood I dreamed of working in publishing, since I love books! But, never wanted to move to New York City (its 3000 miles away for goodness sake) so I just became an office girl. I also love animals, and a few years ago I left my office work to work in an…

Buy it at Walmart. It is much, much cheaper there. About $3.50 at our store.

When I was in the 300s I was eating about 1700 a day and walking an hour a day, which had a pretty big burn for me since I live on the side of a mountain. I averaged a 12 lb loss per month until I hit the 250's when it slowed down. Hope that helps.

I am down over 100 and have about 50 left. I have found a lot of friends here over the past year who are doing this without surgery, and a few with surgery too. The most important thing is to find a good core group of friends willing to talk about the hard emotional stuff because there is a lot of that too! And without…

I lost 100 in about 12 months. But I still have a ways to go and am going to refocus and set some goals this weekend to move it...move it...move it!

I have been fitted, and I run in Asics Kayano 18s. I ride elliptical in New Balance and I hike in Teva's. I think it is important to find the right shoe for the job as well. For some reason the NB on the elliptical prevent the foot numbness I get in all other shoes because they have a different support system. There is no…

Please don't feel invisible. Posts disappear so fast sometimes...And yes, in theory you could eat them. But...never trust a computer completely. Even if you have a body bugg, other things can factor in, like medical conditions. PCOS, diabetes, thyroid issues, etc all cause weight loss to take longer and the body need less…
