The first step is gathering support! You have that checked off now comes the making a plan. What time of workouts are you planning, what equipment do you have? What diet are you thinking of, a formal diet or just reducing and watching calories? Welcome, although I haven't been here long I have already jumped my first bad…

Hi! I'm in the same boat perhaps. I am sitting at 258 right now and would like to be 150. Although I am not at my highest, I am just starting the weight loss journey. I did get up to 300 in 09, but combated that with a pregnancy (my body is weird and I lose while pregnant) and got down to 235, before giving birth at 256…

I agree with Kim, Keep reaching for the moon, even if you don't quite reach it, you will still be among the stars. (Oh, man I hope I got that saying right!)

First off, THANK you for the outpouring of support. I have to be honest...I bawled like a baby into the dish towel as I was reading the replies! mlb929- I have a 9 year old with ADD that will make it so I CAN'T workout, so he can play the Wii. Its so much easier to give up the workout and let them play...thats how I got…

Everything mysticdawnie said. LOL I have pretty much the same set up..Minus the Kinect. Have Biggest Loser *Wii* and while it is a challenging workout, there are too many switch remote breaks and it for 1 breaks my concentration and for 2 slows my heart rate. JUST started with EA Sports Active 2 *Wii* and it is a very big…

I also got a free 30 day trial with one of the dvds. I found the diet VERY hard to do with a family of 7, some of the food I had never even heard of let alone would actually eat. The workouts were VERY hard for me, and I lost interest within the first week.

So, after reading all of the comments-mostly "It isn't a good enough workout"..I had to reply. I started out very obese. At 300 pounds it was ALL I could do to do the Wii Fit. I worked off my first 65 pounds thanks to Wii Fit and +. I am now (still obese) but at 260 pounds (gained a bit back thanks to a…

I have to admit, while I wasn't one of the people encouraging you yesterday, I am JUST LIKE YOU. Once the novelty of the program wears off (or I take a rest day) I have to FORCE myself to get back into it. This may be the best website I've ever found! ((Thanks MissKim!!!!)
