Evening all, Everyone is doing so well!!! Loving the UK thread!!! I'm hopefully going to hit 1 stone weight loss on weigh day tomorrow......... measured a few vital statistics a couple of weeks ago for a bad week when i don't lose!!! Which I had measured body fat before starting!! :flowerforyou:

I weigh first thing on a saturday morning!!! I find this a good day, so I can have a treat on saturday night!!! I feel an early morning weigh in is more confidence boosting, as it is not dependent on what you have eaten through the day!! Hope this helps!!

I have lost 13lbs and would like to lose 30lb overall....we're also in a similar place i'm 172 currently!!! I'm sure others can notice a difference, arrange to meet with someone you haven't seen in a few months...hopefully they'll notice!!!! Also, take measurements as well as this shows the results better!!!

Great post!!! I cook all sauces from scratch (a few guilty pleasures in small amounts) but anything can be made at home....there are some great links on here to blogs etc if you have a look about!!!

It clearly is much better to make your own and plan ahead if you know you are going to rushing about!! Although it is a better choice than some of the other breakfast options in McDs, so if you are in a hurry and this is your breakfast you shouldn't beat yourself up!!!! :smile:

I agree....I was told that the caffeine from a strong coffee before a workout will give an energy boost?? But just made me feel ill:huh:

I eat seeds and nuts too, just check the calories and fat at the end of the day to make sure it fits into your diary!!

Didn't realise that before now!! I never eat fully into my exercise cals .... which is obviously a good thing knowing this!!! Why do they do that????:angry:

I did a half marathon at that pace, and was a comfortable run especially as i had never done anything like that before!! I'm now running at about 6 mph (10 min mile.) I did that by running for short periods at 6mph for as long as i could manage on some days and gradually building this up!!! Hope this helps!!! Em
