What I've been told is that MUSCLE burns more than fat. So, because you are built muscle by working out - your metabolism is revved and you are able to burn... :D KUDOS!

I have just started reading your post and the replies and don't understand why you were/are so defensive at some helpful replies? I did not read anyone lecturing your or belittling your amazing intelligence or education. Why so negative to perfect strangers?

I'm thinking that your total calorie intake is more of a maintenance one - seems awfully high. Reduce it and you will see progress. Watch the carbs AND the eating after 7pm... also - no sauces etc. Good luck!

Hi there. It sounds like something metabolic. Look into the amount of protein you are eating and when, also analyze the number of carbs. Maybe try and do an atkins like diet for a week or so, really limiting the carbs... (albeit stay within your calorie range...) and that could be just what you need to kick start... Also -…

I'm proud of myself because I am travelling this week and I packed my sneaks and usual work out gear... I ACTUALLY USED IT! Did a 20 minute walk on the treadmill... yay!

I agree with so many of these sentiments in this post thread... I sometimes think about my next meal as I am finishing one. I wake up in the am thinking about either what i will be eating -- OR- If I am dieting, what I can't eat. I find I do best on STRICT diets becuase I just barely eat...which is easier said than done.…

I have the exact same issue. Good for you re: tonight. I'm on the road a LOT - and the preservatives etc. in restaurant food etc. is nuts.
