Malt 'O Meal made with peanut butter protein powder, egg whites and almondmilk, with a sliced banana on top.

It will be water retention. Prednisone makes you retain, but, you weren't on it very long, so you might not even have any.

I use olive oil all then time, just less of it when I can. When making dressings and marinades, I cut a little of the oil out and add more water or vinegar.
-
I can eat all of the fitbit calories back and stay on target.

This is my favorite thread, to date.

I find Quest to be decently thick. I've only ever mixed it with almond milk. Haven't used a lot of protein powders, so, I don't really have anything to compare it to.

Set up macros that work for you. You can change the MFP default macros. They didn't work for the way eat, and still don't, but, are much closer than they were before. I don't eat by percentages, but, by fat and protein ranges and I let carbs make up everything else.

Since my motto is eat all the food. I eat as much as I can while still seeing progress that I am happy with. Currently about 2000 calories a day.

Some of them taste horrible and leave a nasty after taste. Some are delicious. I eat them on my I'm not hungry days. Pure Protein bars are cheaper and taste better. But, have less fiber.

Are you sure your maintenance calories are only 1400? Have you tried eating at 1400 for a couple of weeks and seen that you don't lose weight eating at that calorie amount? How active did you tell MFP you were? Do you eat your exercise calories?

http://www.cooksmarts.com/weekly-meal-plan-service/about/ This is what I use and I prep on the weekend. I make enough for 6 people, sometimes more. Then I have lunch the next day. CookSmarts gives you ideas of what to do with leftovers and tells you what freezes well.

The Fitbit app just had an update come out. Looks like MFP and Fitbit aren't playing nice right now.

I have the Aria and find it to consistently give me the same weight.
-
You realize you can drink an entire bottle of wine and still hit your Marcos for the day.
-
I usually do a protein bar or banana for breakfast. Cottage cheese is always good.

Love yourself as you are right now.

Not necessary at your body weight. I use 1 gram per body weight, just because it's easy to remember. When I'm eating at maintenence I do 134-156 g Protein, 75g fat and the rest in carbs. When I'm cutting calories I try to cut fat to 50 grams, keep protein the same, and everything else is carbs.

I have not tried it. I like Little Big Bread, can't remember who makes it. It's in the bakery section at Target. I've seen it in the frozen organic section at grocery stores.

Just sent a friend request. I could use more sensible friends.

Give bodyweight exercises a try. I've been following Convict Conditioning and while not completely gone my neck, shoulder, back and knee pains have eased quite a bit. You are your own gym is, also, a great bodyweight program. They are both progressive and you start with very simple exercises and work on technique before…

My son has water retention, occasionally, due to a kidney condition called minimal change disorder, in which the kidney pores change shape and allow proteins to be filtered out. Water tries to follow the protein, so he is peeing the proteins out and it causes the water retention. I have a veiricose vein in one leg that…

There's no reason you need that much protein. You don't weigh enough to utilize it all. You can only use about .8 grams per pound of lean mass. If these were my stats I'd do this: if eating at maintenence my suggestion is between 80 - 100 grams protein, around 75 grams fat with the rest of the calories in carbs. If you're…

Under Armour has no show underwear.

I second Convict Conditioning. Great book.
-
Do this every Christmas.

Lower your weightloss goal and make sure your activity level is set correctly. As a 160 lb, 5'5 woman, I average around 2000 calories a day and still lose. I do almost no formal exercise besides walking.

Focus on improved health instead of weight.

I have not had this happen to me. It would suck, I feel for you.

Do whatever works for you. It doesn't matter.

Agree with the above post. If food is causing that much anxiety, you should talk with a professional.
