I'm more strawberry blonde - the red hair shows up in photos best, but it's getting lighter because I work outside in the sunshine! not sure how to rotate on here because it's oriented correctly on my computer!

Super interesting! Thanks for sharing :) I have a BMI lower than 80% of women in my age group - but higher than 55% of the rest of the women in the world in my age group. The article was dated in 2012... I wonder how those numbers have changed (if at all) in the last two years!

210 a sandwich isn't that bad considering that 2 tbsp of peanut butter is around then (+/- 30)? I guess based on the size, though, it is!!

It makes me sad that you think that 5'5, 129 pounds is even close to overweight because I'm 5'5 and 135 pounds and I would most definitely describe myself as thin... and nowhere near overweight...

I get lightheadedness/weak legs during the summer when I do a long run and my electrolyte levels are low. I REALLY need to hydrate during runs, with both water and Powerade/Gatorade, in order to make sure that my body can repair itself and rebuild it's levels properly :)

The early registration was too confusing for the Annual Pass Holders so I just waited until registration opened at noon today and it took 5 minutes! It was really easy! Can't wait!

I made BBQ pulled "pork" (shredded extra firm tofu) for the super bowl! http://undercoverdiva-asitcom.blogspot.com/2013/02/super-bowl-sunday-vegetarian-style.html I always grill portobello mushroom caps and use those in place of burgers. You can top them with cheese and condiments just like a regular burger. I also make my…

I've been running for a while, and I run 3-4 days (usually 4) a week. But, it's usually my only form of exercise, and I love it, so it's what I do most often! I think most people do 3 days a week! Listen to your body! Whatever you want to do is perfect Happy National Running Day!

You can just make your own salad shakers by using an empty mason jar or sauce container. That's what I do. I support the Bolthouse Farms suggestions. They are amazing and have no freaky ingredients!! I am addicted to their honey mustard. It's almost like a Dijon mustard dressing!

I'm 22 and I still ask my parents if I can eat certain foods when I'm at home visiting!

We're not that far off because I think registration opens next month?! I'm planning on doing it again this year. It's definitely not a race to PR, but it is a BLAST!

GORGEOUS! Great work. You look FABULOUS!
-
Oh then you're in a great place! if you maintain that fitness, I'd guess about 4 weeks or so would be all that you need!
-
That depends on how much running you actually do now... you'll only want to increase your mileage by 10% each week and would most likely want to complete 9 miles two weeks before the event so that you can run less mileage during the week of the race. Based on what I run now, I would most likely only need 4(ish) weeks to…

I recently wrote a post on this titled "So, you want to be a runner?"!!! I am no expert, but I would suggest definitely start out by making sure you stay adequately hydrated before/during/after a run to avoid cramps and get good shoes!! I think this post is worthwhile to read (and not because I wrote it), because I think a…

I write a healthy living blog/life blog!! I share things about my love of running, cooking, eating, as well as ridiculous aspects from my life (including drinking lots of beer). It's all about balance ;) http://undercoverdiva-asitcom.blogspot.com

Just signed up! I ran the Princess Half this past February and had SO much fun! Can't wait for this race!

Thank you! It was very humid this past weekend, more so than it has been in the area! I was glad that I live in Florida so I had trained in weather like that, but it was definitely tough to keep it together during the race!!

Check my Pinterest board with recipes from my blog and see if it helps you at all! There are only about a handful of options on there now, but as a grad student, I live on a budget as well! http://pinterest.com/rachee73190/undercover-diva-a-sitcom-blog-recipes/

Hey ladies! I hope you all did fabulously and you are feeling well! I did a review of the race on my blog! Here it is if you're interested :D Recap of my weekend at Disney and the Princess Half Marathon! It's very picture heavy!!…

Thanks! Good luck to you, too!
-
Thanks for the tips! I think I should be okay to run the 13.1 even if I have a two-week break in there, but I don't want to slack off or hurt my training at all because I'm somehow a week ahead.

I stuffed mine with vegetarian pulled 'pork' (aka barbecue tofu) and it was really, really good, so I imagine you could stuff it with real bbq pork!
