I agree with the above suggestions. Log everything (even when you don't want to!) it really does help. I log in everyday and log EVERYTHING. I have had some really bad days, but I am learning how to eat differently to change my life. :smile:

I am also in the obese range and I am on week 4. I really like the program because it provides structure which is so key for me right now. I am the same way...music really influences my level of workout. Missy E, Korn, Greenday, and Madonna are always on my excercise playlist. I am kind of all over the place with my musical tastes. :smile:

I keep mine with me for emergencies (I have a son) and sometimes I am on call at work so I need to be able to respond pretty quickly.

I agree...I always end up WAY over my calories when I go out to lunch or dinner. I think I am making a healthy choice and then when I log everything in...not so much. So I make an effort to bring a lunch to work each day and cook healthy dinners at home.

So far only 9 pounds. I am a bit disappointed-but on a positive note, I do feel better and I am able to do more physical activity than before I started.

I love red wine, but I also really like beer as well-good beer-I am not a fan of typical light beers but I have found that Beck's Premier Light is pretty decent. I also like Skinny ***** Margaritas.

Cal, Carbs, Fat, Protein, Fiber, and Sodium. I actually alternate between sugar and sodium. I want to know how much sodium I am consuming each day. I am actually shocked some days at how much I have consumed. I am making a concerted effort to reduce my sodium.

I made black bean veggie burgers and sweet spicy sweet potato chips. It was my first time making the veggie burgers and it was pretty tasty...got both recipes off All Recipes website.

My 8 year old has always been very good about trying whatever we put in front of him. He eats all types of veggies but it is a bit harder with fruit.
