Don't get me wrong, I don't think they can be annoyed about it because I don't talk to them about it. I know they have no interest in getting healthy whatsoever. I've asked them several times politely to join me on walks or easy exercises, or coming over for healthier dinners... They've declined repeatedly. I'm not going…

Not true! You absolutely can run on a treadmill, but you need to run at decent incline to avoid losing your backside. It's all about the muscles used. As the belt moves while flat, you aren't using the hamstrings and glute muscles to propel yourself forward like you would on a flat surface. At an incline, you utilize those…

Russian deadlifts and heavy weighted hip thrusts, increasing each time you do them. I've been doing it for a while and have noticed a significant gain back there ;) if you need more info, it's from adrian bryant on nowloss.com ... i love his stuff

Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones was covered by Vanessa Carlton, and I love both versions! :)

I am still not familiar with all the different formulas but there are 4 formulas to calculate the TDEE on the iifym.com calculator. it uses these methods: Mifflin-St Jeor, Harris-Benedict, Entering your specific Activity Level, and the Katch-McCardle. Might check it out and see if that helps

thank you everyone. I really wish I had taken my measurements. I now realize how important they are for when the scale doesn't show much movement. I can't wait to keep losing. I want to hit 50lbs gone by The end of August, and be at my goal of 160lbs by Feb 2014! :)

Wow you look fantastic! Great job! I'm sure you're ridiculously proud of yourself :) I know I'm proud of you! :flowerforyou:

thanks!

This. Enough said.

I've lost 32.6lbs in 12 weeks. I should be able to hit my 50lb mark somewhere between the beginning-middle of August which will put me at about 6 months.

I'm 22 and have lost 32.6 lbs in the last 12 weeks :) I want to lose 69 more to get to my ultimate goal weight of 160lbs :) Maybe 140-150lbs depending on my physique when I get to 160 :) Anyone can add me! I'm on daily and always offer support and motivation when I can :flowerforyou:

I absolutely agree. I get really disappointed in today's society of people who feel the need to always make themselves feel better by putting someone else down. It seems that the widely accepted form of criticism is to talk about people's weight. This website is here for the people that want to make a change. I don't see…

Definitely following this thread. With the 32lbs I've lost my body fat has gone down about 6% but I definitely want it to keep going down.

Being a good receptionist: 10% focusing on work, 90% not being distracted by the internet Thank goodness I'm overly efficient. I have my work done through the whole month of May, and I'm on the internet or my phone probably a good 90% of the time I'm at work...and my boss just recently told me I'm seriously the best…

I worked at waffle house before and am offering you to add me as a friend because even though I might be pathetic, their food is worse! :flowerforyou: anyone can add me though, really. I always try to support and motivate as much as possible :)

I would talk to the PT except I no longer see him. It was part of the lawsuit that was settled. I have no more treatment by him. He was aware of my restrictions. But at that point, I was not trying to lose weight and build muscle. I was just trying to recover. So I didn't ask him about suggestions as far as lifting is…

Reverse crunches have really helped me with my tummy bulge, as well as diet of course. But the reverse crunches have greatly reduced it!

While I respect the doctor's restrictions, They are working restrictions and I think he meant 25 lbs constantly....as in "Don't get a job where you're lifting 50lbs for 8 hours a day." ...Those type of restrictions. I know I couldn't do that without the risk of re-injuring myself. But for this, I am going by what the…

I used unsweetened applesauce as well, and used SUPER ripe bananas so mine were still fairly sweet. (Not a huge fan of sugary stuff anyways) .... and I'm not good on figuring out the nutritional information but the above post sounds about right

I'm mainly posting so i can come back later and read all the comments, because I really enjoyed what everyone has had to say thus far. I'm a big believer in enjoying whatever you want... but in moderation :)

reverse crunches really helped with mine. It's not gone, but it's definitely shrinking!! :)

There may be legitimate reasons why people lack confidence. Sometimes it's not just their weight. Like others have said... everyone has been through their own journey. I used to be extremely confident and outgoing and then got stuck in an emotionally, verbally, and on occasion physically abusive relationship and was…

Request coming! Anyone can add me as well. I've been on for 10.5 weeks and have lost 24.6lbs so far. I log in daily and my diary is open. I always give as much support and motivation as possible :) :flowerforyou:

I have the blueberry crunch ones today. I eat them for breakfast, not as a snack. But I do enjoy them. :)

People just don't seem to understand the difference between being helpful and being rude. Helpful is giving advice or contributing something that is actually going to help the person asking a question. And yeah, there is a lot of sarcasm. But for those of you who don't know... there is actually a difference between…
