My only advice is to stay away from google. I had it a couple years ago and the doctor was never overly concerned but ran some tests anyway. Then I googled it and got myself all worked up while waiting for the test results. Turned out it was caused by rapid weight loss and it returned after 5 months.

I was 230 and started with Jillian Micheals 30 Day Shred and did the majority of her other DVD's after that.

I agree, adding miles that fast can cause problems. I tried adding miles fast in the beginning too. I ended up with a sore knee after every run. I eventually backed off and cut back to 1.5 miles for a couple weeks and then added .5 miles every 1-2 weeks until I worked myself up to a half marathon. I am restarting my…
