LOL I am active duty military for the US. Ergo, they get slightly more say on my body then I would like. Luckily 30 is the magic age, so I can start fighting in December (but I'm getting a three year birth control in July just incase). As far as the family members go, I just avoid them as much as possible and every time…

I cannot agree more with that statement. I am 29 years old and am sick and tired of hearing from doctors, friends, and my in-laws that I will change my mind about kids. I haven't wanted kids since I was 16 and my brother had his first daughter. I was basically raising the baby while he and his woman slept and partied until…

1) What exercise do you do? CrossFit 2) Why do you do exercise? For the stress relief and endorphin buzz after a great session. 3) What advice do you want to share? The best exercise in the world is the one YOU will do consistently. Enjoy it, don't dread it.

So why automatically discount a CrossFit trainer? While I agree there are some bad coaches out there, two of my coaches were previously Olympic lifters. A good CrossFit trainer will work with you on your goals to include focusing on basic form first. The key to any trainer/trainee success, IMHO, is to communicate openly.…

Depending on the ages of the kids, I am fine with them doing it because they don't know better. My husband on the other hand watches me do all of my measuring, eats his portion, and then steals the best parts of my meal. With a smile and a "I'm saving you from yourself."

mmmmm...man eye candy first thing in the morning.

Confession: While I love my husband to death, he is growing much closer to death by stealing all the tasty food off of my plate. Seriously, leave my cheese alone in the salad. If you want more cheese, than I will get up and put more in your salad. But I have carefully measured mine for calories and am not willing to share.

So that's where the other half of the market is. 5lb bag...less than 30 hours. My husband was aghast at the rate in which I ate them.

When my boss is in I tend to have to put out fires...he attracts chaos.

Confession: I am totally using work resources to look for new workout clothes and check this post. Boss is away...time to play.

I agree with the see a doctor comments. I get issues like this when I have an ovarian cyst forming. It turns into a nagging discomfort about a week before it either reabsorbs or ruptures.

Confession: I may have just brewed an entire pot of coffee to drink at my desk while catching up on the 10+ pages of posts on this forum.

Lunch time. That way I don't have to affect my sleep cycle at all.

9 rounds of "run" 200 m, 11 dumbbell burpee deadlifts (6 reps with 30 lbs, 5 reps with 20 lbs)...it was supposed to be only 8 rounds but apparently I can't count today.

"Ready to Run: Unlocking Your Potential to Run Naturally" Dr. Kelly Starrett...after years of ankle, foot, and shin splint problems, I read this book and started doing the practices in it. Slowly back up to 1/2 mile at a time so far with no shin splint issues and no ankle pain. Quitting running was not an option for me…

I *might* be purposely wearing baggier clothes with more layers to work because my boss has agreed to let me take 2.5 hour lunches to work out during my lunch break until I lose weight and get in better shape. The baggier the clothes the less obvious it is that I am losing weight and getting slimmer and more muscular. I…

If I knew how to do the thumbs up sign I would. Vegas weddings are amazing. So much less stress and money. The wedding money my father has saved up is now earmarked for down payment on a house.

I got married in jeans, "Bride" tshirt, and purple zebra striped Chuck Taylor's. He was in shorts and a "Groom" tshirt. Our tshirts *MAY* have said "I'm with Stupid" on the back with arrows pointing at each other. Still do not think my MIL has forgiven me for that one. Plus we didn't tell any of our family until the night…

Probably helped that I went with a friend who happens to LOVE the cake I bought. Normally I do buy the cake that I like, but for some reason today I decided to avoid the cake by buying one I wouldn't eat. Maybe because I have the last class in my nutrition class tomorrow and have to weigh in.

I do both. I keep MFP updated with my phone/work computer, but for some reason writing it down old-school style really helps me stay on target. Plus its easier for me to just hand my notebook to my coach/dietician and say "what did I miss?"
-
Actually bought a coworker a birthday cake that I HATE the taste of so I won't eat a piece. Maybe being in charge of getting the cakes isn't a bad thing?
-
Definitely a compliment.

My dad and I always had Frisbee dates when I was a kid. We would have used a baseball but my brothers tended to know where they were at all times and would have realized that we were doing something sporty and tagged along. Frisbees were easily hidden under the seat of the car.

IMO that depends on a lot of things. Is it the too sore to survive another minute of the pain soreness or the really good ache from an awesome workout? I would definitely not work out when I am feeling the first way, but I am almost always sore somewhere (I'm a CrossFitter so pain is part of the way of life). So I work out…

When you attend a nutrition class and the instructor gets annoyed because you know the answers to almost all of her questions because of the forums on MFP. Then when she asks you after class how you know that much and you say you have MFP. Apparently the final week of class she MFP and encourages us to use it. I'm ahead of…

Ran a mile straight with no walk breaks. Funny thing was it only took 10 seconds off my last time but felt a whole heck of a lot better. Been grinning ever since.
