Lol my doctor was very surprised at how great my blood results were...then was stunned when I burst out crying at the results of the thyroid test. I was so SURE it was medical and not just plain old lacking motivation

I thought the name was very fitting. Seems like its a constant process to start again. Isn't that the great thing about MFP, that none of us have to do it alone? I will add you and wish you luck on your journey too.

Just quit a few weeks ago myself. Best suggestion I can give is to set an alarm for every hour; then get up and walk for 5-10 minutes. The quick walk will help wake you up.

They were told yesterday that my gym would not meet their needs. Which I think is polite gym speak for "Leave and don't come back". This gym takes a very Average Joe's view. And does not play around with intimidation. :happy:

Actually its because "coffee dehydrates you" and "women get breast cancer from coffee" and "it poisons your kidneys" and other reasons of that caliber.

I agree with everything in moderation if there are no health reasons to give something up. I have recently been told I have lactose intolerance so giving up most milk products. I am a lazy bum on Sunday's. Additionally, it is the one day a week I get to eat all three meals with my husband so I tend to go over on calories. My favorite around the house is the bag of dog food. It gets lighter slowly (my dogs don't eat much) but hey its there already. :smile:

If you are training mostly on a treadmill, up your incline to 1.0-1.5 to stimulate the road drag better. It "should" help your body get used to the difference in the treadmill pulling you to your pace and forcing your legs to do it themselves. Due to running injuries, I have to train almost exclusively on a treadmill.

Oops...forgot to add do this 3x a week with a day off from strength training in between. I generally do 30 mins of (high intensity) cardio on lifting days and 60 mins of moderate intensity cardio on non-lifting days.

The feeling I get when the people at the front desk know be my name, what day it is in my workout cycle, and if I pushed hard enough the day before...I don't like the feeling that I get when they remember that it is weigh-in/body fat percentage measurement day.

Umm...only one person can police my calories and food intake a day...Today is not your day...Tomorrow will not be your day...(to the coworker who snarkily said "see you quit your diet") Forgot to pack my lunch today and had to grab food from fast food. Still stayed under 400 calories.
