Sometimes if i mess up and have something bad and over indulge i'll think "Oh well, i already screwed today up, better just start over tmw and eat whatever else i want today" which is NOT the way to go. Im learning to take it one day at a time, one meal at a time. If you ate…

  • You can even consider telling her you'll run "with her" but not really "with her" if that makes sense. I've been training with a friend who is MUCH faster than I am and runs a longer distance than I do, however, we meet up together in the mornings for our long run day and start together but then go at our own pace. She…
  • Interval/circuit training. Its quick, makes the time go by fast because you are switching things up, and burns those calories quick and easy!
  • You can always try running after work before dinner? Or eat a lighter dinner, kind of cut your dinner in half and eat it before and after your run?
  • Raw almonds are a good source of protien and good fats :-)
  • You should always be careful when you are sick and want to exercise. I took a cardiovascular testing class and learned about working out while you are sick can effect every part of your body. For instance, if you weigh yourself weekly, you should do so on the same day and the same time. I've always heard that right when you wake up in the morning is best,…

  • I like to add fruit to my yogurt to mix up the taste a bit, like grapes/pineapples. Also, it sounds kind of wierd but its really good...if you add yogurt and oatmeal together. Wait for the oatmeal to cool down a bit and mix the two togehter. Sooo good! add some blueberries or banana too.

  • An Elliptical is better on your knees however a treadmill is usually more accurately calibrated. It will tell you the true amount of calories burned as opposed to an elliptical. Just make sure when you walk/jog you aren't holding onto the handles
