Not everyone needs 1700 calories, it depends on your daily activity level. I am a student and therefore have a lower level than someone who stands on their feet all day. If you or anyone else wants to know what you need (and for it to be super accurate) go see a registered dietician. They will tell you what's best for you.…

I just finished up a nutrition course, what the goal is is to have a calorie deficit. Every person has a different required calorie intake for the day. If you go below yours then you will go into starvation mode. I am on 1250 calories a day and am super cautious to eat at least 1200 and pack as many nutrient in as possible…
