  • I completed C25K earlier this spring and have also been looking to improve my running speed. I just downloaded a similar app called 5KForever which is designed to help increase your speed. So far so good! I'm a week in and really liking the program. I'm the type that needs a structured plan to follow so it really helps!
  • I've had a Fitbit One since January and absolutely love it! For me it really keeps me mindful of my activity level throughout the day. I also tend to have a rather competitive nature so it keeps me really motivated to stay at the top of the leader boards. I consider the Fitbit money well spent!

  • I have a Fitbit One and an older polar HRM (F6). I love them both but they do different things. I use the HRM to calculate calories burned during specific bouts of exercise -- like jogging or cycling. Since it has a chest strap it really isn't suited to wearing all day to get total calorie burn for the day. Mine does not…
